For Vendors
To post a giveaway, contact a @staff member and they will assist you. Your giveaway, at a minimum, should contain a description of or link to the prize, the requirements for entry, the date that the giveaway will end, and the method of choosing a winner. It is also highly suggested that you include the number of participants needed in order to do a giveaway (if that is something you would like to require) as well as the maximum number of entries each participant is allowed to make. Rules to participate cannot require external actions, such as liking a facebook page or something like that. You can mention them in the rules but they must be marked with (optional).
For entrants
Contests are meant for actively participating members of our community. To enter a contest, you must be at trust level 2 (have earned the “Member” badge).
The full specs of what it takes to gain member trust level:
visiting at least 15 days, not sequentially
casting at least 1 like
receiving at least 1 like
replying to at least 3 different topics
entering at least 20 topics
reading at least 100 posts
spend a total of 60 minutes reading posts
