Both are rated at 25 amps I do believe. Are you running at 200 watts, dual, triple or quad batteries?

Actually the 25R are rated at 20 amp continuous discharge according to Illumn, and the Sony batteries are rated at 30 amp. I would look to Mooch’s chart for his ratings but either battery should be good for a regulated device.

well only picked of 5, 2 of the sam25r and 3 sony vtc5 along with the nitecore D4 digicharger. over 50 and it dropped the 14 dollar shipping. $52.99. will be getting the same order again monday for the wife. thanks again for the info

I agree imrbatteries.com have sales alot and you get free case with 2 battery purchase and they have the LG2s (brown) 3000mah 20amp for $6 right now. Shipping is cheap too and they give you new battery wraps with every purchase. They are out of Houston Texas.
