Yeah @Skullblade789 I hear ya on the commercialism. Personally I don’t care since Christmas is purely a secular holiday. Those who try to tell me to “remember the reason for the season” are obviously idealistic rather than realistic.Oh, Oh, I bet I hit a nerve out there somewhere!

Up until the store I worked at closed, we were getting the Christmas stuff in mid June to early July. You think getting Christmas shoved down your throat in October is bad, try unloading 50 artificial trees on the 4th of July.

Pass thanks! LoL. Although this year I may have enjoyed that. I was seriously itching for some Christmas in July for some reason. I start getting in the Christmas spirit around this time but by the time Christmas gets here I’m all Christmassed out. LOL I’m trying to pace myself this year.

Chefs Flavours in the UK have a mince pie flavour that isnt bad, not great but not awful…unlike every effort I have made to make a mince pie, is a difficult one…I gave up last year, this year the effort is Christmas Log

I haven’t celebrated the holidays for the past 7 years. They really don’t give you a chance to. During my upcoming cruise I’ll be picking up some duty free rum to do things right.
