Now, that’s just for the company that lists their ingredients, as for other manufacturers is anyone’s guess. We could definitely ask if this ban actually affects the flavors themselves or simply food products, it’s not clear from what I’ve read.

Those in bold would be my biggest concern…especially cinnamon and mint!!
But I do like my lemon, orange, and other citrus!

I really feel for folks like @Bob_Bitchen!!
I’m betting he and a couple others are going to be concerned about Garlic and Onion being messed with!

Just with a quick bit of research, I found Myrcene is naturally present in bay leaves, thyme, cardamom, lavender, and…drumroll please…hops! The wiki entry says it’s a flavor component of beer…is the fda going to outlaw beer with Myrcene tainted hops? I highly doubt it lol too much lobby money.
Wiki entry for the curious-

What the heck, the links were working before to show only the list of flavors for each CAS #. Hmm, I may have to share it a different way.

OK, fixed! Sort of, the last two kept copying weird, so I listed the flavors affected, which aren’t many. Glad you caught that :+1:.

The ingredients include synthetically-derived benzophenone (which can be found in rubber reusable food containers), ethyl acrylate, eugenyl methyl ether (methyl eugenol), myrcene, pulegone, and pyridine, which aren’t specifically listed on labels because they fall under the umbrella of proprietary “artificial flavors” that manufacturers don’t have to release, according to the petition that led to the FDA’s ruling. The additives are used to contribute floral, cinnamon, mint, citrus, mango, woody, pineapple, roasted onion, and garlic flavors , according to the document—meaning sweet and savory foods and beverages could be affected, all unbeknown to customers.

Hmmmm, not sure if woody, roasted onion, or garlic will affect my vaping, but it is an interesting action taken none the less.
