Juice change over

Ok guys sorry I have a new question with my kanga subbox mini… How do I change juice I have had the same one in all day and want to use another flavour I know I can wash out the tank and drip tip but what about the replacement coil?

I don’t have one of those, so I’m not entirely sure how they work, but you might be able to get away with rinsing the coil out. I usually don’t bother with washing when I change juice, I just try to get something kinda similar or complimentary to what I had in before. That way when the old juice mixes before it goes out with the first few hits it doesn’t taste awful.

Yeah I couldn’t find any info on it so I just dadded the coil with some paper towel and washed out the tank, because I had fruit liquid before the fruit is still there ontop of my night juice…lol which is a peanut butter base but its quickly going now. I seem to get bored with flavour very quickly so this mite be a problem, I wonder if it is ok to run the coil under water?

you’ll need to vape something very similar and check the coil for build up if you vape something different or the coil is funky you’ll need to change your coil… hope this helps…

New here, first post, so hello everyobe.

but to answer your question, if you are talking about the RBA,

once you have removed the old wick,
rinse the deck off, remove it from the battery/ mod first : ) ,
dry off everything except the coil. no need. and then before rewicking, place the naked base back on your KBox Mini, and dry fire the coil. I lower the wattage first to 7 watts, no need to be higher. Let the coil get orange for a split second, do once or twice more till you see only metal. If there is still gunk, do it again.

rewick, prime the wick, refill tank, reassemble, and let er rip.

Are you enjoying the Subox? I am loving mine.

I’ve rinsed Protank heads in hot water a lot of times. I just made sure it was as dry as I could get it. It made the juice a little weak at first and it popped a lot as it boiled off the rest of the water, but as far as I know it didn’t hurt anything. Some people don’t like the idea of inhaling vaporized tap water so they rinse everything in distilled water, but to me it is no different than a really hot shower. You’re breathing in the water, then. Also, as @Noobie_Mixer said, you can dry burn just the coil (NO cotton unless you want to start a small fire ;)) but there are some concerns about that as well. There was an article posted about how dry burning your coil can cause metal in the vapor or something, I don’t know. I still do it, and I still rinse my stuff in hot tap water, and I still take really hot showers…so I guess, as always, take all this FWIW.

JoJo Thanks for the info and article about the dry burn/ metal in vapor. I was unaware.

Hi ness;

I do not recommend washing/rinsing coils. Nine out of ten times it will never vape the same again. I recommend you remove your coil, set it aside, and rinse out everything but the coil. Put everything back together then add juice. As @quitter1 said it is best to try something similar or at least mixes well with what you were vaping before. Done in this manner the old flavor will more then likely disappear in a half a day. Probably not what you want to hear but replacing the coil for every flavor change is not feasible. Coils for the subtanks are not cheap…
