@Donna4 this is a good deal ( check the free 18650 extension box ) but you will need a button top 18650 battery and a charger

Also check this out I would get 2 battery’s

This will work good with your Aspire tank

I haven’t looked for MTL stuff in a long time but if you want something stupid simple and super cheap you might consider trying an ego AIO.

You’ll get lots of great advice from these fine fellows. Another person who may be of great assistance is @Amy2 as she is a dedicated MTL vaper and proficient mixer. :wink:

One really easy to use MTL device is the iCare from eLeaf, It is a dedicated MTL device that works like a charm and it is inexpensive.

Try one of these, you can turn the airflow way down and do mouth to lung (MTL).

I am nice to him, Darlin’…he is my red-headed step-child…and I love him as such.

Ozo is right though, going to your local vapeshop could be all right if you know for sure that the people who work there know what they are talking about. Unfortunately not every vapeshop has qualified people in it so you’ll run the risk of coming home with a useless piece of crap. :poop:

i know each of us are different, but when i started vaping, i watched a lot of YouTube (reviewer) vids of device and tanks. it was a quick way to learn.

Many tanks and mods i immediately excluded just watching the review - as i could “see” they have something i don’t like. there are others that made it to my short list. i still do that today, although i’m shopping for new stuff much less now :slight_smile:

if you have the time and patience, i suggest you sit thru some of these vids. you also pick up the lingo and terminology of that world

good luck.

@Donna4
I highly suggest a Provari V2.5 for several reasons.
Especially someone that hits MTL should have one, and the main reason most people didn’t buy one…was the cost, they were very expensive compared to mods that seemingly did more. The main reason to have any Provari is simply they will work right every time…and for a lifetime. The quality is phenomenal. Now you can buy one at an unheard of price for $19.95 , $4+ shipping, and EVEN get the $8 extension cap [used for 18650 batteries-button top] for FREE…IF you check the box for it when you order. Just remember to check the box !!!
This 2.5 will get you started with your Aspire tank, but you will need a button-top 18650 battery [I suggest getting at least two, so you have one always charged], and a battery charger. I suggest an Opus BT-C3100, it will pay for itself just with the battery re-fresh function,but at least get a Nitecore D2 charger. Both can be found on Amazon.

Obviously, the newer models of Provari’s will give you more options, and cost more, but the V2.5 is excellent to start with. I have a couple 2.5’s I still use each day, and I know @Rob62 does also. Every vaper should own one, if for no other reason but for it’s dependability.

You can get set up with this…then research for what you want/need next.

You can get the recommended battery for the Provari 2.5 here, cheaper, but with shipping cost, it will be about the same price if you buy them with the Provari…unless you are buying additional stuff from RTDvapor.

CAW! Salutations from across the Realms Donna4! :v: & CAW! I think at least PART of your issue is mod and tank related. Every 4th or 5th refill you should disassemble the tanks totally, Use care. Place the pieces, starting with the drip tip, on a clean dry surface from left to right so you won’t have trouble reassembling them. Clean all of the parts (except the coil if reusing) by rinsing with hot tap water. Look in the bottom section of each tank that the coils screw into. Sometimes e-liquid builds up there and creates many issues including possible leaking. Clean and dry it well. I then clean my tanks with CHEAP Vodka. Dry all parts well. While the tank is off examine the 510 threading on the tank(s) and Mod (s). I use a dry paper towel and grasp the "male"connector firmly, but not too tight, and twist. If black matter comes off find a clean spot on the paper towel and repeat until no “matter” comes off and it is clean and dry. Next clean the “female” 510 connector on your Mod(s)! :wink: You can push paper towel, or clean, lint free cloth, down into the opening, carefully, and twist it like you are unscrewing an atomizer. Again if you find any matter on the towel find a clean spot and repeat until clean. Reassemble and refill your tank. Make sure you make everything snug without over tightening. O rings can get cut if tightened too hard and create myriad problems. Finally if you google “safe vaping chart” you will find many that will show you the correct voltage and/or wattage ranges for the resistance of your coil. I have tried to address the issue you have posted about. I hope this is of help to you. Happy vaping! :smiley: :v: :heart: & CAW!

@Donna4

ProVape also has the ‘Classic’ on sale.
It takes the flat top 18650 battery, and you have to purchase the $8 extension.
The Classic also has a flat top instead of the beveled.
You can even get a High Performance end cap for it. [Every one of my Provari’s that can use a High Performance end cap…has one on it. Excellent performance, and much better battery life, although they are pretty good without it]

The V 2,5, Classic, P3, etc. all take the smaller batteries also, you just get longer run times with the 18650.

There is even a P3 on sale for $99…unheard of !!!
