i finally got the cap honedew melon and i like it but i like tfa betterbi think the cap is more candy like to me but i just mixed with last night so its hard to really know

they do sell super sweet thats where i got mine for the first and last time

Cap Super Sweet I like better than just straight up sucralose. Super Sweet is sucralose based but also contains Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate. I always use half of whatever I would use with TFA sweetener and like it more, if the recipe calls for 0.50% sucralose then 0.25% is what I would with super sweet. I prefer Stevia over those 2 though but super sweet does come out better with some fruit or citrus type mixes.

@Nicotine_River Iā€™m sorry guys but the email I just received makes me feel like Iā€™m getting smoke blown up my ass and I will need further explanation as to how you can justify charging us more money for half the amount. I can understand a little higher but Come on Really $12.00 for 60 ML. I donā€™t normally do this but I feel everyone deserves the opportunity to see their options

Not good, and rather surprising to boot.

Thanks for sharing.

BTW, what kind of email? Was it general marketing hooey or an actual personal reply to an inquiry? (it reads like it was the latter, but I thought I had better ask, rather than assume!)

Iā€™m off to the Post Office myself. I ship everything USPS Priority which is only a couple bucks more than First Class. Iā€™ve seen the shipping and itā€™s up there, but I have to tell you shipping is expensive. All that stuff you throw away costs money. Bubblewrap is .10 sq/ft and poly beads are more ā€¦even the cheap paper isnā€™t cheap ā€¦and boxes? Add an insured employee that makes sure all your items make it into the box 100% of the time (Labels lot# tracking), and theyā€™re likely just covering costs +15-20% which is standard ā€¦apologies for the Devilā€™s Advocacy.

Iā€™d like to see some USPS Flat rate options for the heavy stuff, and Nicotine should only travel Priority so it doesnā€™t get hot on a truck for a week

Twas their response to a support ticket I did on their site. Donā€™t get me wrong I love the company overall I just canā€™t set back knowing that something must be off somewhere. I might add it wasnā€™t from Grant or Adair like have received in the past.

I donā€™t know but are these the same flavors ? I see the one from nicotine river listed as Honeydew and the others listed as Honeydew 2?
Seems like a big price difference.

There are two Honeydew flavors from TPA. Honeydew (which is usually more expensive) and Honeydew II (which is less). Now, I will say NR is more expensive than everyone Iā€™ve looked at just now except ECX. Just make sure youā€™re comparing apples to apples.

Prices for 4oz of Honeydew (TPA)
http://www.diyvaporsupply.com/honeydew-tda-1/ $19.95
http://gremlindiy.com/honeydew-tpa/ $15.00
http://www.bullcityvapor.com/honeydew-tfa/ $14.50
https://www.nicotineriver.com/products/honeydew-melon?variant=10218629635 $25.00
http://www.ecigexpress.com/diy-e-liquid/diy-e-liquid-flavors/signature-flavors/signature-sweet-flavors/honeydew-by-signature.html $25.78

Prices for 4oz of Honeydew II (TPA) (NR and ECX donā€™t sell this one)
http://www.diyvaporsupply.com/honeydew-ii-tda/ $12.95
http://gremlindiy.com/honeydew-ii-tpa/ $8.00
http://www.bullcityvapor.com/honeydew-ii-tfa/ $10.50
http://wizardlabs.us/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=2384&search=honeydew $8.50

Either one is still a dramatic price difference true?

Considering theyā€™re normally priced more competitively, definitely. Like I said, still quite a bit more expensive than most of the others. Does seem odd. Just not quite as extreme as comparing $25 to $8.50 and I wanted to make sure you were aware that there were two different versions. BoyHowdy kinda beat me to that part.

Also, just to note if anyone was interested, if you have a wholesale account with TPA (free and no EIN or anything needed) they sell the Honeydew for $14/4 oz and Honeydew II for $9/4 oz. Their description on Honeydew II is amusing: ā€œA more affordable reformulation of Honeydew Flavor!ā€ No idea why the original is so much more expensive.

Strictly from a humor standpoint (as Iā€™ve never been one to cheat)ā€¦

The g/f (II) is always cheaper than the wife (the original)??

Orā€¦ One is Honeydew and the other is Honeydoo. =x

On a serious note though, if I had to guess, more water/alcohol? Or possibly a different vendor supplying their vII components? (probably the latter)
