My wife’s Chihuahua Coco had a puppy that surely would have been considered a teacup, Coco is quite small and the sire was even smaller. I named him Hooch and planned on keeping him but he was born with a serious cleft palate and our choices were surgery then and another after about a year each at just under three thousand dollars and this is with no guarantee that either and or both would not be successful and he would have to be put to sleep or put him out of his misery right then well I really miss him even though his time here was short.
Nothing exotic (I was banned by the time my youngest was born). I had some great suggestions for our first
my favorite was Doctor (always wanted a Dr in the family). We ended up with 2 princesses Charlotte (well before there was actually a Princess Charlotte) and Samantha. The two biggest reasons I quit smoking and went digital.
We have similar ideas when it comes to our furry(and not furry) friends there is no amount of money that I wouldn’t spend to save a pet. A few years ago I spent just over $5k in an attept to save one of our dogs from a tiger snake bite (which was sadly unsuccessful).
I now have pet insurance for the dogs as they do go everywhere. Unfortuately I just can’t afford it on all the pets we have - 7 horses, 2 cats, 2 dogs, 3 rabbits, 4 guinea pigs, 2 rescued tortises (both had cracked shells from cars on the road I super glued them back together) I did get to name them by stealth - I quietly suggested names to the kids till one sticks so we have Skittle and Flip who live in the dam and Puggle the Echidna who now resides in the bottom paddock. I did have a feather tail glider for a bit but he has long since been released and so small I would never find him again.
