Hi All, it's been a while since I have posted here. Since I don't have to many new recipes to share and since ya liked the last knives I posted, I figured I would share some of the knives I have made over the last couple of months.
The ones I am going to post are all made from old Farrier's Rasps. I got a hold of about 40 of these, they are made from 1095 steel so it's great steel for making blades.
Hope ya like them.,,
Bowie with black hamon, 1095 guard, brass and elk antler handle with domed brass pin. Hand tooled leather sheath with removable leather frog and elk antler inlay.
Another Bowie with stainless steel guard, stainless and black and white G10 spacers, and deer antler handle with stainless pin. Hand tooled leather sheath with removable leather frog.
Camp knife with white hamon, brass bolsters, curly oak scales and brass pins. Hand tooled leather sheath.
Another Bowie (I love Bowie's) with white hamon, stainless steel guard, stainless, brass and black G10 spacers, heirloom fitted Ebony wood handle with brass retaining nut. Hand tooled leather sheath.
And finally a Drop Point Hunter with stainless steel guard, Ebony and Osage Orange scales with brass pins and black G10 liners. Stil need to make a sheath for this one.
Thanks for looking.
