Scrapple and other weird eating ;)

They have no idea of what they are missing.
One of my mottoes, when I was in the Navy, was "the world is like Baskin Robbins, you won’t know what you like until you’ve tried all the flavors."
That motto covered a LOT of territory, but it was mainly about food.
If they’re creeped out by some pupae, they definitely don’t want to try a sago or Balute. Two of my favorites!
The worst dish I’ve ever eaten is carabou. It was like tough cardboard, without the flavor. As in, NO flavor.
The only thing I have ever refused to even try was a live prawn in the Kowloon night market. I don’t do live. :laughing:

I was thinking not because then they would have taken their food recipes from the old country and we would know about them so I looked it up :smiley:
