The Cloud Company, by Suicide Bunny

What’s up vapefam!

SirRisc here with another juicy review with the best from the US!
In the passed week I’ve been having some cloudchasing fun with the new max VG juiceline from Suicide Bunny, The Cloud Company!

If you’re into cloudchasing with flavor and style, you’ll want to have a look! Or if you just like max VG and good flavor, have a look all the same.

If you’ve followed my reviews in the past, you’ll know I’m a fan of both Suicide Bunny and Kings Crown, the latter being one of my favorite things in rotation actually.

When I heard that Suicide Bunny was launching a max VG line called The Cloud Company, naturally I got excited to see what they would do with it.
Seeing as had reviewed both Suicide Bunny and Kings Crown before, I was set on completing the collection by reviewing the new line too.
I know the high standards Suicide Bunny sets for their juices so I went in with equally high expectations, and I honestly wasn’t dissapointed.

All the recipes have been developed from the ground up, except for Arise which is a variant on the already infamous Mothers Milk.
What I noticed right away, even by just smelling the juice, was that these flavors had a lot more fresh and summery notes to them.
The well known creaminess of Suicide Bunny is still there, but it’s combined with very different flavorprofiles that pop out a little bit more.

Packaging and aesthetics.

http://i.imgur.com/lA991u8.jpg

As with the other juice line ups from the Suicide Bunny HQ, The Cloud Company juices come in glass bottles with a fine tip dropper.
The droppers work great but it is noticeable that these are max VG juices, the liquid gets into the droppers a little slower than the other liquids.

The bottles I have here are 30ml and seem to be filled to the brim, if there was any more liquid in there they’d flood.

Regardless you can tell by tilting the bottle that the liquids are fairly thick and thus are very much suitable for dripping.

The glass is thick, the caps are childproof and come sealed with heatshrink plastic, the rubber domes are soft and very easy to squeeeeeeeeee… ahem
They’re high quality bottles.

Now onto the fun part of the packaging, the part I always revel at (see what I did there?) with Suicide Bunny, the labels!

The artwork is as it was with the original Suicide Bunny, black and white figures drawn to the same aesthetic and with the same dark flair.
All four of the labels have a distinctly different color to distinguish them, and hold different drawings with one thing in common: all figures have wings.
The wings of course are a reference to the Heavens, which naturally is in the clouds. A fun way of setting the line apart from the other lines.

Billow has a brown orange label, with a Native American styled woman.
Because of the eyemask and warpaint, she is slightly reminiscent of a crossbreed between Tonto and the Lone Ranger. (Youth sentiment anyone?)

http://i.imgur.com/AwVsYiq.jpg

Sky has a blue label, with what looks to be a variation on the Walküre (or Valkyries).
The Walküre were, according to Norse mythology, maidens who turned warriors and rode in on horses while singing loudly.
From what I’ve read they were also scary as fuck but would only kill to fight injustice.

Revel has a purple label which depicts a blindfolded woman with a tattoo of a heart on the chest.
The blindfold and face are reminiscent of Lady Justicia (or Lady Justice). The only thing missing is the Scales of Justice.

Arise has a red label and depicts a woman masking herself in a bandana while praying with a rosary, which looks like a gangleader of sorts.
I usually end up picking a favorite label in a line up, and I’m a sucker for red. And women with long ravenblack hair. (Sorry Pip, I like you regardless though! <3 )

As you can see, all the labels sport a woman in a powerful way, whether it’s by depicting them as warriors or as leaders or by simply not showing in them in a fragile state.
They’re all to be recognized and respected in their own right, and I think that was the intent while designing these labels.
The drawings are all very detailed and much like the original labels have an obvious link to Suicide Girls because of the tattoos and darker aesthetic.
Personally I love the labels and I think with the whole “it shouldn’t appeal to children” wind blowing through the vaping industry at the moment, Suicide Bunny does a great job in keeping with their own adult styling.

Testing gear.

As with the previous review I did about Suicide Bunny and King’s Crown, I wanted to be thorough and test everything in a multitude of setups.
Since that review, my collection has grown a little more diverse so I could test with a couple of RDAs and RTAs.
As a baseline I used my Doge V2 because I know that one the best.
I use it all the time and know how the flavor develops in comparison with other RDAs.
As always I wicked with cellucotton (aka rayon) and rewicked between each flavor.

In terms of mod I used my Sigelei 100W+ loaded with Samsung 25R batteries as always, because it’s the most versatile in my arsenal.
The Yihi chip is reliable and fires fairly accurate, and it allows me to run anything from 10W to 100W.

The second mod I used was the Sigelei 50W VR2, which sports the same chip as the 100W+ but in 50W mode because of the single battery.

The third mod used was the Heatvape Invader Mini with temperature control loaded with a Sony VTC4 battery, just because I felt it was a good effort to see how Ni200 would taste in comparison.
In essence it doesn’t make much of a difference on Ni200 coils, the vape is definitely cooler and the vapor production is slightly less dense, but the flavor is practically the same.

  • Doge V2 build 1 (Sigelei 100W+): dual coil, 0.4ohm, 0.51mm Kanthal A1
  • Doge V2 build 2 (Sigelei 100W+): dual coil, 0.8ohm, 0.45mm Kanthal A1
  • Plume Veil (Invader Mini): dual coil, 0.21ohm, 0.25mm Ni200
  • Cthulhu RTA (Sigelei 50W VR2): dual coil, 0.4ohm, 0.45mm Kanthal A1
  • Goblin RTA (Sigelei 50W VR2): dual coil, 0.3ohm, 0.51mm Kanthal A1

On a sidenote, Pip decided to include a limited edition Suicide Bunny driptip in the package, which I greatly appreciate.
I gave it a permanent home on my Cthulhu RTA, which is my most used RTA.
Since the entire Obsidian “scandal” these driptips have been a much wanted and unfortunately a much hated item, so I’ll just say this: The driptip is fucking awesome!
It’s a fairly short driptip with a wide bore, which feels really smooth on the lips. An added bonus is that it doesn’t get covered in lipgunk after a while, and it doesn’t get warm so it’s perfect for cloudchasers too.
And it has a bunny on it! How can you not love bunnies!!??

The Cloud Company juices are available in MAX VG only, and in lower percentages of nicotine content (9mg, 6mg, 3mg, and 0mg).

Cloud Company Billow

http://i.imgur.com/05YwWPK.jpg

Description on the website:

Reminiscent of a coconut creme cake drizzled with sweet, salted caramel, Billow provides the smooth, rich flavor that Suicide Bunny has always been known for.

My review:

Scent: Cream mixed with caramel and fresh note of coconut

Color: Dark amber orange

Taste: Billow is a bit of a specialty profile that comes out very surprising. Despite the scent being mostly caramel, the flavor is very dominant on coconut, especially on the inhale.
The coconut gives it a fresher note that plays with your senses while the caramel suddenly settles on the tongue.
I’ve tried a few caramel flavors and never really liked them, but the combination of salted caramel and coconut actually makes it very easy on the olfactory.
The strange thing about this juice is that it changes flavor tremendously as you change wattage.
At somewhere around 50W it’s very fresh and the coconut dominates, but if you turn up the wattage to around 70W the salted caramel pops out a lot more and it becomes more of a dessert flavor.
Lovely stuff that will make the clouds billow from your olfactory with a lot of flavor.

Cloud Company Sky

http://i.imgur.com/EYNk71r.jpg

Description on the website:

This blend of savory, lemon cookie served with rich, sweet, creams are layered to provide a smooth experience.

My review:

Scent: A very refreshing lemon with notes of lime

Color: A bright tint of yellow amber

Taste: This juice is easily summarized as summer in a bottle.
A very fresh and sweet lemon lime pops out on the inhale as well as the exhale, and the flavor lingers a bit with a subtle accent of cookies.
The creaminess tends to be a subtle layer on top of the other ingredients, barely coming through at first but increasingly so if you keep on vaping.
A lot can be said for the balance between the lemon and the other flavors, flavors from the citrus family are notoriously hard to keep balanced.
There isn’t much difference in flavor between lower and higher wattages, the cookie tends to come out a bit more if you turn up the heat but the lemon stays dominant.
I could vape this with ease during a hot summers day!

  • Flavor: 9/10
  • Vapor: 10/10

Cloud Company Revel

http://i.imgur.com/ZSs7lHL.jpg

Description on the website:

An interesting, flavor-morphing liquid—prepare to meet your new All Day Vape. Every inhale brings a new experience: hints of sweet cereal with fresh berries and cream one time, and a beautiful mix of berries and citrus in the next. This is a perfectly balanced, complex liquid that will keep you guessing.

My review:

Scent: A candy like smell, fresh yet sweet enough to curl your toes

Color: A deep shade of amber

Taste: I have to admit, the current cereal flavor hype that is taking the vaping industry by storm has sort of passed me by.
I can see the attraction in them, but I got stuck on custards myself.
With that said I was rather sceptic about this one when I read the flavorprofile, which in retrospect maybe I should have done after tasting the juice.
Despite not being a fan of cereal juices I could appreciate this one quite a bit.
There’s a slew of sweet fruits that draw you in, and then the creaminess suddenly pops in very subtlely.
Regardless of having so many flavors worked into the recipe, you’ll get a fairly solid citrus cereal flavor that is easy on the tongue and has a sweeter touch.
Again feeling very summery Revel has a warmer character to it, and is less of a fresh vape than Sky.
Comparing the two you’ll find that they do have some of the flavor in common, though one is warm and the other fresh.

Cloud Company Arise

http://i.imgur.com/cfxAgTL.jpg

Description on the website:

Birthed by the much-loved Mothers Milk, this twist on the original maximizes smoothness and VG for great performance and flavor, cloud after cloud.

My review:

Scent: A very creamy strawberry, almost like strawberry yoghurt

Color: A lushious tint of amber orange

Taste: Well slap my ass and call me honey, it’s a max VG Mothers Milk!
Pardon my language there but I’m salivating heavily while vaping this juice because I love it so much.
It’s about the same flavorprofile as Mothers Milk, one of the original Suicide Bunny juices, but in a max VG blend and with a somewhat sweeter strawberry note to it.
The creaminess is very nice on the tongue and lingers through the sweet strawberry, with a touch of dragonfruit (I think) popping through for that extra little kick of flavor.
I simply can’t say anything bad about Arise because it’s so close to Mothers Milk, which I thoroughly enjoy too. A definite favorite!

  • Flavor: 9.99999/10 (I was on the fence about giving it a perfect ten, but then realised that it may not be as good to others as it is to me.)
  • Vapor: 10/10

In conclusion.

Suicide Bunny proves once again that they are above all the misguided hate and misconceptions with a max VG juice line that will cloud up any room within minutes.
For cloudchasers or vapers who simply love their smooth VG juices, The Cloud Company will definitely be a hit wonder.
The flavors are full bodied, sweet and succulent. The clouds are dense, thick and plentiful. The packaging is beautiful, high quality and not marketed to children.
All in all I think the bar was set high and Suicide Bunny has raised it again, they strive for perfection and I have to admit they’re getting damn close to becoming my go to juice company.
Whether it’s King’s Crown or Cloud Company, or the OG Suicide Bunny, there’s something for everyone.

In closing I would like to thank Pip, Suicide Bunny and the kind folks of Wolfpack Distribution for sending me these juices for review, I really appreciate it that I could complete the collection!

And of course I would like to thank all of you who have been supportive of my reviews! I appreciate the feedback and hope that my reviews help you choose the gear or juice that is right for you!

And to all the haters and people trying to discredit me: Lol, umadbro?

I’m always looking for more opportunities to review, so get in touch if you want me to review something from you! Juice, RTA, RDA, mods… it’s all welcome and I’m sure we can work something out!
