Felt like sharing my two cents. I work as a verification and validation engineer, coming from an electrical engineering background. I love that there are so many varied professions mentioned here, very interesting to know about peopleā€™s profession.

I am going to keep a close eye on this forum, maybe we can find an astronaut vaper from space posting here. hopes up

My Dad was a Navy Recruiter at Panama City, Fla.
Donā€™t think he ever forgave me for joining the Air Force.
That was the end of my ā€˜geedunksā€™ā€¦

Thank You for Your Service, and Good Luck on your move.

Iā€™m Retired/Disabled, but I used to do Customer support for a large Hospital IT dept. I have also been in Retail management, retail merchandising, and Customer service. Seems all my jobs involved pleasing someone. Guess thatā€™s why Iā€™m such a well Iā€™ll be nice jerk when it comes to dealing with companies as a customer. Oh yeah and I spent 6 - 8 years as line cook and sous chef. Most of the retail was in a western store.

Domestic Violence Support Worker (as in I provide support to those experiencing it, not domestic violence itself lol)

EDIT: Just to clarify - the support is emotional and practical - rehousing/refuge/court advocacy/confidence and self esteem workā€¦not cheerleading @Sprkslfly :joy::+1: :joy:
