Hope this helps…

Thanks but not in the strait answer as what exacly is acetyl pyrazine, where does it come from, is it natural or chemical …

It’s a chemical and it creates or enhances a nutty or bready taste.

Just as i found the same definition, thaks @jojo even that is not clear it come from animal, nuts, vege… i did developed a tendency of not trusting what im not sure of, one thing is sure it realy change the liquids i was wondering if there is a substitute?

When you purchase this flavor it’s not 100% pure acetyl pyrazine, it is 5% AP. Then in most recipes you will be using .8% or less in the mix.

Yep that is not alot i admit, maybe im to piky… thing is it taste great!
And cant be replaced i think?

I’m not sure what you can replace it with. It is an enhancement like MTS, sour, or even sweeteners.

And there is nothing wrong with being picky, but if you use it at 1% it makes up 0.0005 of you entire mix.

there is nothing wrong with being picky at all. , but at some point you either have to except the answer or forget the product , what AP is has been told multiple times …

Thanks that is as close as it can be to describe AP, sorry for the long thread on this, as @fidalgo_vapes i agree on the forgetting about it part, probably my fault as a professional in toxicology i have a litle tendency to get a lot of details about components cuemical and i like to have all the answers when im asked about those, again sorry for the long thread.

If you use it, go easy on the stuff unless you really like the taste of Fritos. First time I used it, I got a little bit too much in the mix and was Frito sensitive for a few days after vaping it.

While we’re on the subject, are there any common flavors out there that have AP in them? It’s something I’ve thought of picking up many times, but never have because I have no clue what it tastes like, so if I could compare it to another flavor it would be helpful for me to know if I might enjoy it or not.

Afaik it is used in Popcorn and roasted nut flavours. Can’t tell you which brands definitely have it in theirs, though.

I found this from tfa if anyone else is interested:

The only one I’ve tried from the list is cheesecake (graham crust), and I do like that flavor… I think I’m going to throw some ap in my next order.

Acetyl pyraZine is actually creamy if used in very small doses. It is definitely an interesting component.
