Aldi's Shoppers BOLO (Be On The Lookout) for Stonemill Original Dry Rub

@SessionDrummer I can look for you when I fly back home. Aldi is a German brand, so maybe we have a bigger selection?

Just an FYI, the absolute BEST dry rub I’ve ever gotten in the states was from Costco. It was in a metal screw top tin from the brand Kirkland, but I can’t find a pic, so I guess it’s long discontinued.

Will BOLO for your Aldi Rub.

I appreciate it @IggyZ.

That’s the FUNNY thing. I’ve got ALL kinds of rubs, purchased, homemade, and for whatever reason, the Aldi one was a SHOCK. Just some generic rub, that turned out to beat most, if not all of the one I currently used. Go figure.

I work for Aldi Nord here in Germany.

These are the only rubs we have. And only in the barbecue season from May to September.

Do the stores in Germany and the US stock the same products?

It looks like they have different offerings depending on the country, and sometimes locale.

cool thanks muth !
as a chilli head its obvious to me its peppers that are to blame for its greatness
there are at least 3 peppers in this mix, most definitely more. yes paprika is a pepper
its too bad they don’t specify which chilli’s though, there are thousands of species. its a blend of peppers

You never know @warkwarth, it could be the Silicone Dioxide. :stuck_out_tongue:

That would give away their secret, ey? I didn’t even know there were different paprikas in their degrees of heat.
