Vaporesso PodStick Pod Kit Review | Simple But Powerful
With the fast development of the e-cigarette field, more and more new thingies emerge in an endless stream. Sometimes, thereāre actual innovations that brighten our eyes; and sometimes thereāre just some weird or semi-finished thingies that make it hard to understand and accept. All in all, those attempts are definitely indispensable for the future of e-cig. Today, we will have another āinnovationā to talk about, Vaporesso PodStick Pod Kit.

Initial Thoughts
To be honest, I personally donāt think itās appropriate to name this device podstick. You know why? Back to a few months ago, this name might make sense. But great changes have taken place in the vape market, specifically the pod kits market. More and more pod kits start to draw lessons from box mods and rebuildable atomizers. Such as smonat pasito and vapefly jester. And you can also find thereās plenty of box shape pod kits on the market. The size of pod kits becomes bigger and bigger.
As for the Vaporesso Podstick Pod Kit, when I took a first look at it. I think thereāre not many special features except for a weird name. Well, I think Iāve changed my mind after I tested it.
The Battery Mod
The outer shell is made of aluminum alloy material so the whole weight is controlled in the right place. When you grip it in hand, you just feel itās pretty lightweight. But the build quality is quite awesome. Thanks to the unique feature of aluminum alloy, the matte-like surface gives you a feeling of comfort that has already made me addicted to holding it.
Actually, the whole design of the battery mod is quite concise. Thereāre no complicated functions or operations. 5 clicks to turn it on/off and 3 clicks to change the output wattage according to your preference. Thereās a colorful indicator hidden beneath the fire button, and it will flash when you activate and operate the device. And thereāre 5 single-color indicators to remind you of the battery status.
Look inside, you will find there are two contacts and a piece of magnet in the pod position. Even though, actually the pod cartridge is clipped into the position. The strength of the magnet is not strong enough to adsorb the pod cartridge.
The capacity of the battery is 900mAh and you can charge it via the USB port on the bottom.
The Pod Cartridge
Recently coil changeable pod kits are becoming popular on the market. As for the reason, I think nothing is more important than saving money. Itās no doubt that you will save more on the replacements than irreplaceable coil pod kits. On the other hand, itāll be much more environment-friendly!
As for the replacements of Vaporesso PodStick Pod Kit, something is just different. The coil is irreplaceable and the pod cartridge is undetachable. Frankly, I donāt prefer this kind of design.
You will get two pod cartridges from the package. One with 1.3ohm Ccell coil and another one with 0.6ohm meshed coil.
And Vaporesso also simplified the refilling method. Push the top cap first, then squeeze your juice into the pod via the PTF design port. Thereās a nozzle bottle included in the pack to provide you more convenience.
The airflow is on the backside which is nonadjustable. I donāt know how to comment on that. I just think this pod is extremely simple!
The Verdict
So itās time to tell you guys my thoughts on it.
Cons:
To be honest, I hope the airflow is adjustable. People all have their vaping style so there must be a ton of different preferences on the airflow richness. Although Vaporesso has adjusted the balance of airflow between MTL and DL, itās still loose for MTL vaping.
Another con is the irreplaceable coil. I really appreciate it if Vaporesso would change their mind on this. After all, a finished pod cartridge is much more expensive than a finished coil.
Pros:
Thereāre really plenty of pros you could see. The whole workmanship, the material selection, and the build quality are totally great. Adjustable output and battery indicators are both comfortable to use. More than this, the airflow and flavor are definitely awesome. Iāll never doubt the performance of Ccell coil from Vaporesso.

To draw the distinction between these two Vinci devices, Voopoo just made some adjustments on the Vinci R by removing the colorful screen configuration and adding colorful indicators.
Now that thereās just one button on the Vinci R, so the operations will be much more simplified. Click the fire button three times to adjust the output voltage, one indicator stands for 3.3v, two indicators stand for 3.5v, and three indicators stand for 3.7v.

Starss Romeo Pod Kit Review | Whereās My Juliet?
First of all, I just think this title is much more appropriate even though itās nothing to do with the vape device. I have to admit the vape manufacturers are really good at naming, specifically some kind of weird names! This device, Starss Romeo Pod Kit, is born with something different.

Initial Thoughts
Iām not joking. This device, Starss Romeo Pod Kit, comes with a weird shape design and a weird name. Thatās how I feel when I first saw it at a glance. Thereāre plenty of various pod system kits on the market, Iāve already adjusted myself to get used to those āinnovativeā differences. Well, this kind of shape precisely gives me something different.
The Battery Mod
The battery mod is made of zinc alloy material so the surface is pretty smooth and glossy. But that also causes some problems. The fingerprint magnet and quite easy to get scratched. And I donāt think Iām the only one worry about these issues. So, be careful to treat this kind of device is the only way to keep it beautiful as long as possible.
On the other hand, thereāre two resin decorative panels on both sides which is the highlight of this device. I donāt know how to comment on that cause Iām not a fan of resin. But seriously, it quite offers a comfortable gripping feel.
The whole functionalities are quite simple as well. You get a fire button on the left side of the battery mod. 5 clicks to power on/off the device and 3 clicks to change the output voltage. Thereās a colorful indicator under the fire button. Correspondingly, green light stands for 3.0v, blue is 3.3v, and white is 3.5v. Of course, itāll also flash when you charge the device.
On the top, you will see the two contacts and a big piece of magnet. Due to the special design of connection, thereās no notch or grooves to avoid the pod moving or slipping. So increasing the strength of magnet is the only way to avoid the accidental drops. And frankly, the strength of the magnet is pretty awesome.
The capacity of the battery is 1200mAh and you can charge it via the USB port on the bottom.The charging standard is 5V/1A which I donāt know if itās the fast charging. Anyway, itās not bad!
The Pod Cartridge(Or Tank)
To be honest, Iām used to calling it a pod cartridge instead of a tank because itās on a pod system kit. Some users out there may like to call it the tank due to you can replace the coil head inside. It does make sense.
The airflow control system is located on the position of the drip tip. Slightly twist it to adjust the airflow abundance. Actually, the control ring is easy to twist without much effort. And you can also squeeze your juice into the pod by slightly unscrewing the screw stopper as well.
Coil replaceable seems like to be a common configuration of pod kits today! To some extent, it really saves your money by simply replacing the coils instead of the whole pod.
You will get two coils from the package, 0.6ohm mesh coil and 1.4ohm, to replace according to your preference.
The Verdict
So itās the time to tell you guys my thoughts on it.
Cons:
Actually, I donāt have much to complain about. Thereās only one point I want to talk about is the MTL experience. 1.4ohm coil head and 25mg Nic salt juice are what Iāve used. Frankly, itās a little bit restrictive even the airflow is fully open. Maybe Iām not a fan of MTL.
Pros:
The shape is what I want to talk about further because it really surprised me. Its curved surface and round corners both make you feel comfy. No matter which hand you are used to gripping it, it still does the same to you.
Furthermore, the 1200mAh battery is awesome as well. Coil replaceable, the airflow control method, and filling port design are all convenient to use. In a word, I love it, the Starss Romeo Pod Kit!
