Brand Billboard

Is there a resource to all the brands’ top flavors? Like, we all know that people are going to name Vanilla Custard V1 as one of Capella’s greatest hits. Probably Cinnamon Danish Swirl, as well, etc.etc.

There have been many over the years on ELR. A “top flavors” list is an ever expanding list and difficult to keep edited by anyone.

Thank you. I really appreciate the link and reply. I can imagine an ever growing list. However, even with all the new flavors there seems to be the “old standbys”. The ones that stand the test of time. Am I wrong?

I’m sure you’re correct. I’ve been out of the mixing game and what’s better than what for a while now, since I mostly vape NET. I make a few mixes and experiment with new stuff for my spouse and daughter, but I am by no means the guy to ask about what’s best anymore.

One of the things I’ve done lately is just type a manufacturer in on the flavour list search, then order by number of recipes to see what’s most commonly used. You could do it by rating too I guess but ratings are more subjective and I frequently disagree with people’s reasonings for their ratings so I’ve stuck with recipe numbers. I’ve also done the same thing just searching for a certain flavour eg search ‘strawberry’ to see the most commonly used strawberries.

This is probably one of the more objective lists you can find IMO. It looks at the most popular, highest rated public recipes and analyzes the use of flavors in them.

Another good indicator is probably just sorting the public flavor list by amount of recipes

Obviously you can also narrow that down per brand if you search on specific terms.

Not sure if that was the purpose of the OP’s question, but fair enough.
You’d really have to make an analysis like Scott’s top 100 recipe post but purely based on the top flavors per brand.
If you feel a calling for it, I’m sure a lot of people will want to read that analysis

etc, etc (so many brands and so much rubbish in the database)

ummm, yeah actually . upon re- reading , i see i was being a dumbass here. i somehow forgot about the “type a manufacturer in” first. Maybe should delete my post, to avoid creating confusion.

the results would still be skewed by availability issues mind, but that wouldn’t be near such a big issue.

thanks!

I guess you did 'cause I don’t see it. Just as well, I get overwhelmed easily by the huge db. Thx for your input.

What happened to the 2015 Top Flavors by Vendors thread? I just read through the whole thing and some good ideas came up but I don’t see the follow through. Did I miss something?
