Thanks all for the replies. My only concerns with grape in general is a medicinal taste if the flavor percentage is too high. Generally, with Capella flavoring and single flavor mixes, 5% will work for my taste regardless of the flavor. Despite going a little heavy on this one, by the time I get to it in the rotation, steeping will settle that flavor down some.
Thanks for the encouragement and thoughts. I only realized later, working with small test amounts and a more sensitive scale like you, might limit the audience to a few people.
To avoid this problem and recipes being thrown off after an introduced error in the msds sheets, I stop using manufacturers gravity and just use defaults. That way your recipe will always remain the same as long as you’re using the same flavors.
