This is what happens when I leave the building for several days? Someone is going to have to queue me in on using AI for recipes. Which ChatGBT seems to work best and how do flavor brands figure in? Does the bot choose them itself? Sheesh, the next time I’m gone for 5 days I’ll learn that extraterrestrials landed and introduced themselves. What else did I miss?

but for the ai i just tried the chatGPT android app & asked for a lemon tart eliquid recipe & it gave a pretty good answer, listed flavours, brands, a description what each flavour brings to the mix & how much of everything to add inc vg/pg, i was quite impressed with its answer actually. :v::heart:

I used Gemini because it’s installed by default and the results weren’t bad at all. I liked that it has an explanation of how it arrived at its results.

I thought exactly the same thing, its amazing how it got all that info & explained what each flavour brought to the mix like it had been diy’ing for years, it was something like -

Capella - Lemon meringue pie - 8%
For the base, brings that lemon curd, meringue & pie crust notes

Flavour art - Lemon sicily - 2%
Builds upon that lemon to give it a nice citrus boost

& some other flavours but it layed it out really well, its scary because it was actually like getting a reply from a pro on a diy forum :scream:

I think that’s because it’s getting it’s information from the pros…us. Well not me specifically but I’m sure it’s crawling all the sites. Gemini didn’t expound on the flavors like yours did. Maybe I’ll do several and list them as clones by the bot’s name (for the commercial liquids) ha!

Just saying, if you like malt (like I do) try to get Malt (NF) when you have a chance. It’s right up there with their Ginger. It’s not malted milk, just a good, realistic yummy malt.

That’s an intriguing question. AI crawls the internet and web pages collecting the data to answer the questions asked. My question is where are the recipes for commercial liquids stored and can a crawler get to it? Some authors are secretive which makes me think that they don’t use internet based calculators. What do you think or know?

Hehe, I asked about AI’s ability to create and here’s the answer I got.

AI can combine multiple ideas based on trained data but not create one completely new. Only humans can do that since ideas are based on needs, experiences and more.Sep 23, 2023

@muth In my neverending search for a vape wild clone in the beginning. I ended up getting into all these web pages that were like .aspx or something similar. But it wouldn’t let me access it database archives from the company that owned the company.
I can’t even remember how I found the page. Maybe through wayback machine or something :upside_down_face: I’m guessing they’re out there.
I tried asking Claude AI again last night and at first it wouldn’t let me it said it was too dangerous. So I told it I’ve been diying for a few years now, OH WELL IN THAT CASE HERE YOU GO …:man_facepalming:t3:
