What I will say is that twisted messes website seems quite high priced for wire.
I’m currently paying from wireandstuff around £4/$6 for 25m/75ft and it gets cheaper the more you order.
Of the finer gauge wire it’s generally 200m/600ft for about £5/$7.50.

Well, I just wicked it and dumped a load of max VG Promised Land on it and hit it at 72 watts and yup, you’re right…intense flavor and massive clouds!!

INTENSE!!!
I actually used my mech and 25R to fire and pinch this to get it glowing inside out.
But then switched it to my M80 which does seem to fire .09 but not .08.
Running at 80w I quickly filled my front room in about 3 rips.
Flavour is unbelievable.
I would honestly say the best flavour I’ve built as yet.
I think I owe it to myself to get a SnowWolf now.

Not many people vape that low . I find the flavor there amazing also. I try to make all my builds that low. That’s a good looking build.

It started to chink up a little bit so I did one extra wrap and pulled one out to try and straighten it up somewhat.
It gets really hard to keep ribbon straight when wrapping it so that it remains vertical.
I chose 32g as a wrapper to make it a little easier for me as a first attempt.
I’m making a wire order this week and I’ll be getting quite a few different gauges of Nm80 including some ribbon.
Also going to get into polishing using 1000/2000/3000 grit sandpaper.
It can have a dramatic effect on Kanthal and Nichrome.

Here I am about to try cleaned SS317L again.
3.5mm 10wrap dual coil .46ohms in the Velocity clone.

Ok so here’s my findings.
I’m a dumbass!!!
I can’t believe I hadn’t thought of cleaning the SS wire before use.
It does give really good flavour.
BUT on the build above I’m having to run it at 65w in order for it to be where I’m liking it.
That would give me about half a day run time on my M80. Hmmm.
I’m going to make some 2.5mm coils ready in anticipation of putting them in my billow next rebuild.
Then I’ll put the SS through its paces in my tank for a little while.

Try a standard wrap coil with less wraps to lower your resistance. You find it to be more flavorful than that particular set up.

Standard wrap slightly spaced or tightly wrapped?
I’m thinking 4 wrap on a 2.5mm dual coil should come in about .1ohms

Just thought I would show this little build off.
It’s something I put together last night for a mates billow.
3x32gNm80 twisted paralleled with 30gNm80 2.5mm 7/6 wrap.

so i know Nm80 is safe/good for wrapping…what about Nm60??

Yeah nichrome60 is ok too.
Wireandstuff only sell nm80, Ti, SS, Kanthal and Ni200 for vaping.
Nichrome 60 I would think is 60% nickel 40% chromium.
I’ve heard twisted messes mention he was using nm60 before.

I’m at a quandry at the moment though.
I’ve already written to Santa this year and asked him for a Dual SX box mod from SignatureTips which uses the YiHi SX350J chip from the Mini mClass but with dual 18650 and 120w of power firing in both Joules and Power mode down to 0.08ohms. £189.99.
So to get me to Xmas I’m thinking like this.

I just don’t know which way to turn.
Snowwolf 0.05ohm for both TC and NonTC builds.
IPV 0.05ohm for TC .1ohm for nonTC but a much better price point.
For the price difference I could get 4x18650’s extra for the IPV.
I’m also waiting on my Petri Mech Mod to get here to match my Petri DotMod RDA I also have a DIMITRI clone on my wish list from FT which is a fully mechanical Box Mod for low builds.
