When you’re drawing a blank after putting it in corectly “which you are” go ahead and start typing the manufacturers name. I typed in “Sweetener fw” and it popped right up. “Sweetener Flavor West”

If you go to “Flavor List” not “Flavor Stash” it will be easier to add flavors, you can sort results by number of recipes. I linked the tutorial by TZ up above

Hi @Rocky02852. The only problem with that is the data base is so fucked, 1,000+ “Sweetener” pop up- and not in any particular order. Go try- and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Sort by Recipes, done… That’s the way I’ve been doing it for years. especially on mobile. much easier

I did find it, and have changed the sweetener. But…makes it very difficult if the proper name does not come up even starting to type correctly.
To add to this i even added West and nothing came up. Wasn’t until i did Fw that it did.

You got it!! The word “sweetener” is one of the most commonly used flavors in the database, so that’s a tough one.
The next ones you add will be eaiser. 
Unless you want to keep fucking them up- and driving Rocky insane!!

OH!! On another note… When you add the correct flavor into the database, you will also have the avarage mixing amount populate when creating a recipe too.

I always add my flavors to my stash when I receive them using the Flavor List, Not while I am creating a recipe… much easier

Yeah @Oldguynew2diy it’s def. got a learning curve. It’s never a bad idea to start typing in the MFG name afterwards to see if that populates more, better choices. In the case of the sweetener you mentioned, that’s EXACTLY how I type it in, “Sweetener FW”, and choose the Flavor West. The reason WHY this is happening, is because the flavor is loaded as “Sweetener (Sucralose)”.
Searching JUST for Sweetener …
Starting to type Sucralose …
Now, you may not know that it’s Sucralose, BUT, you found the trick. FW, or Flavor West will also get you there.
