I haven’t even had time to even get into this contest yet, but I guess I’m lucky, as I’ve never had a Flame Ball like @STR8V8PING, BUT, I’ve excelled at making completely different and unique “Burnt Tires and A$$hole$”. That’s the FAILS people.

This is one I haven’t been familiar with but the way you all are talking about it maybe I should.

@muth it’s the same as the …

RY Castle (CSC)

RY Castle (CSC) 1.5% (8-6-22) – OK, maybe I SHOULDN’T admit this, but I will. I loaded it into my trusted SteamCrave RDTA v.1, and JUST started to taste test, and take my notes, and WHAMMO, I put my rig down, and IMMEDIATELY mixed up a 60ml. Now, why in the hell would I do that ?? Well, in a word, WOW. This one WAS a showstopper. Typically I’m not a bacco vaper, and some can argue whether or not RY’s are, or are not baccos, but this one really wowed me. It presented (as billed) as a slightly roasted bacco, with much, MUCH more. Chef’s billed it as having a milky coconut and caramel, and that seemed accurate, but I kept almost getting a delicious grahamy/bakery rush with every taste. Yes, I could pick out the coco, and cara, but as a whole it really took on an entirely profile. The bacco did have an almost roasted, slightly darkened note, and at times I almost got a slight nutty undertone. After two full testers, it became obvious this one one of, if not THE, top flavor in this run. Absolutely in One-Shot /Standalone territory here. Just below mid level sweet, perfectly full at 1.5%, and I could find NOTHING I didn’t like with this one, not even a teeny nit pick. The reaction I had to this reminded me of when I tested Sobucky’s Caramel Biscuit. All in, it was a creamy, roasted bacco with light nutty undertones, swirling in a gravy of coconut, and caramel, with some great graham/bakery undertones. 10/10, no other choice

Well dayum, I’ve never had that either. Although I’m not unfamiliar with bacco types and coconut, caramel, etc. Guess I’ll have to try that too but CSC is out of the picture now, right?

Sweetness contains both Stevia and Sucralose

My BCF order arrived today. I can start testing what I’ve got so far. This could end up taking twists and turns for all I know. I just hope it turns out to be something I would vape myself, lmao. It does taste good on the knuckle but this one flavor that just came in will give it a whole new direction, hopefully a good one. Fingers crossed.

Does it contain erythritol? Usually it’s added to stevia to counteract stevia’s natural bitterness. But not all manufacturers use it because it’s been known to cause stroke and heart conditions. @mrpipes mentioned this in a thread because his doctor warned against it. I hope not because Sweetness is about the only sweetener I use besides PUR Super Sweet.

If your worried about 1 sweetener we tend to use then you should worry about all of them. Sucralose not too long ago was a tooic of concern when someone published how bad it was . I think we can find negative write ups about anyyhing we use

It’s the same flavor, and yes, Chefs (CSC) is no more.

I don’t worry that much because I don’t use them that much. Just saying for people who do all the time and might have heart related concerns. I certainly won’t stop vaping even if something was verified. By the time that happens I’ll be dead anyway.

My reference was to a study published in the Medical Journal Nature The artificial sweetener erythritol and cardiovascular event risk | Nature Medicine linked to by an article published by the Children’s Health Defense organization which i am a member of. Sugar-Free, But Not Risk-Free: Popular Sweetener Linked to Heart Attack, Stroke • Children's Health Defense FWIW, if any, CHD is headed up by RFK jr. who has effectively gone after Big Pharma time and again.

I was not warned by a doctor nor was this a hit piece against vaping and as the journal study points out, the people studied were consuming huge quantities compared to what we use for vaping.

Bottom line is after reading the study we consume more erythritol from foods than we ever would from vaping. Erythritol, stevia, and monkfruit are naturally occurring substances which IMO are safer than the artificial sweeteners that don’t. I’m still using it for vaping though I will never put a teaspoon full in my coffee. After careful study, I will not use sucralose, aspartame, etc. etc. To each their own.

I stand corrected as I thought you mentioned a statement that your doctor told you. I probably remembered wrong.
