I knew this challenge was going to be tough, nope it just sucks. Went all the way to a friends place to get a few FLV flavors to try some recipe ideas. Of course he doesn’t have what I needed. I got flavors for 1 idea but

I didn’t mean that the contest sucks but not being much of a Flavorah user (most of the flavorah I’ve tried over the years haven’t been anything spectacular). It sucks getting out of my comfort zone. 
give me a Vape Train challenge and I’d turn out amazing recipes in no time. Though it’s still early in the contest so we have time. So I’m gonna make the most of it. I’ve got about 6 completely different recipe ideas to play with.

Lol…I thought you meant your recipe sucked lmao . I ass u me d most people had a pretty healthy stock of FLV . I use to have issues with FLV and Smoky suggested i tried a different approach to using and testing them. Since then the results with FLV were great for me.

I agree, worked in the main part for me. Although I think some of the newer flavours have a bit more wiggle room and can go a bit higher. Might just be my mixing style has changed a bit overtime time.

I thought i was the odd one. I just never saw the flv hype. Very overrated imo. Theres just none that are really stars and when i use them they never add much of anything good to my recipe even using low. If anything they just muddle the recipe. None of a specific profile really outshine and of my gotos from other brands. That said i know a lot of their popular ones are the fruits and i dont really do many fruit recipes. Overall flv just isnt a great fit for what i like to vape. Im more of a choco, custard , pb, cakes ,cookie , biscuits vaper and none of those profiles id goto flv first for. I do like the comp though. Ill dig deeper into using flv then i normally would

@McDuckie I used to say this a while ago. Back before you came to ELR, SmokyBlue was here, and despite getting into ALL orders of arguments with her, she WAS, and probably still IS the Flavorah Expert. She mixed using drops, and only Flavorah, and I mixed by weight, and used all MFG flavors, so we had LOTS to argue about. As time wore on, we actually became great friends, and I used to talk to her all the time. She was not only a, or the expert in everything Flavorah, but she was also the expert in having recipes with VERY low flavor percentages.
If anything, or anyone can help shed light on mixing with FLV, it’s her.

Yes please. I can do ‘bored’ all day thank-you. 
I’m piecing 3 little possibilities together right now. But, their Sweetness is killing me. 
The mouth feel is like I coated my mouth with a flannel blanket soaked in Novocain. It’s like a dry numbness that doesn’t go away. Just for grins I made another 3 7ml testers using my usual SS & they had the feel I’m used to. Bright, clean, sugary sweet that dissolves & doesn’t linger after a vape.
So, I’m all aboard with bored

I love mixing by drops but it doesn’t seem to work as well with most other flavor houses as it does with FLV.

I think I’m almost ready to submit but I’m waiting on an order because I might swap out one flavor for another which I didn’t have. I’ll need to test out the difference and pcts. I must admit, this will be different from most recipes I’ve been making.

Can you use additives that are not made by flv if nobody makes them like ex. Saline?
