Aw, Publix. Youāre a Florida girl. One of these days Iāll make it back down to visit my sister. If we had high speed rail Iād be down every year but I donāt like flying anymore. If I was retired I would drive down and visit relatives and friends along the way.
Yeah, Iāll never fly again either. As for the cream though, just get the best priced one at your favorite market up north.
I use soya milk as I donāt drink cowās milk but as long as your very familiar with the taste it will work. If I added cream flavours to proper cream I might have trouble telling which was which, unless Iām very familiar with the flavour. Works great with soya so will with proper cream. You can sit there eating lots of proper cream and use the excuse your getting to know the flavour.
I got it today and Iām excited to try it. Whatās your methodology? You start with one drop per tsp no matter what flavor it is or itās corresponding pct usage? Uh I need direction.
Thx for the tip. I also keep almond milk in the house but to me it doesnāt really have an almond flavor, itās kind of neutral, imo.
I normally only do it with 1 or 2 flavours and this method isnāt very precise but get a dessert spoon (thatās 10 mils) if in recipe flavour is 1% or less add 1 drop of each flavour.
If 1.5-2% add 2 drops of each
3% add 3 drops. If you want to taste individual flavours use a tea spoon (5 mils) and add 1 drop. The almond milk is probably better to use because it is neutral.

If you want to test two flavours together one being half the amount of the other.so
Flavour 1 - 0.5%
Flavour 2 - 1%
Fill teaspoon (5 mils) with milk, add 1 drop of lowest percentage flavour then drink half of it.
Fill teaspoon back up to top (you now have ½ drop of flavour in 5 mils of milk.
Add 1 drop of second highest percentage flavour.
Mix with finger, and away you go.
You could do as above with a dessert spoon (10 mils) if you test more than 2 flavours So you have more milk to play with so
Flavour 1 - 0.5% 1 drop and drink half.
Fill it back up to 10 mils.
Flavour 2 - 1%, add one drop.
Flavour 3 - 2% add two drops.
Ect, ect.
Lol, you really have this thought out. Thank you @Dj35 I was wondering how you mixed in a spoon. Now I know I was thinking I could use one of those pre-measured eye cups or medicine cups. I donāt trust myself with a spoon, might start shaking and spill it
Absolutely use whatās handy. Iāve used small washed-out clear 1 oz plastic cups like they put sauces in from restaurant takeout⦠or a shot glass. Doesnāt matter⦠whatever the heck is handy.
Letās suppose that the single flavor recommendation (on the flavor notes page) is 3%. If Iām SFT wouldnāt I add 3 drops to the teaspoon (5 mils)?
If Iām testing 1 or 2 flavours together I use a teaspoon,(5 mil)
If Iām testing more than 2 flavours together I would use a dessert spoon (10 mils) so thereās more milk to play with and yes 3 drops for a 3% flavour. The little measure cup you mentioned would be even better.
I found this last night. It holds 10 MLS and sits on a small collar that tilts the spoon upright so nothing spills when you set it down. Seems handy.
Thatās really good, never seen one like that with measurements and hollow handle. Use that or the plastic measure beaker both will work ok. Is that you on the recipe site with a very nice collection of concentrates. If so try a drop or two of your (wf) ācaramel butterā in 5 mils of milk. Itās really nice.
Yes, thatās me with the over abundance of flavors and more to come, lol. I like WF Caramel Butter very much but never tasted it in a spoon with cream. Sounds like fun to me. I hope this works out because it sure is more fun than constantly re-wicking when SFT.
