FLAVRZ Flavors Reviewed by SessionDrummer -- TESTING NOW!

Bourbon which I mixed @11%, steeped for 19 days and bought with my own money. As I’ve well documented by now I enjoy a good booze concentrate and after taking some happy thoughts away from the rum I’ve tasted in Flavrz concentrates I was looking forward to this one. I know rum isn’t bourbon but the thought remained!

Also well documented is that I don’t actually drink bourbon, rum or the like but I do very much enjoy a good boozy concentrate and can thankfully say that’s where this one sits. To date I’ve only ever tried two other bourbon flavours solo which are Flavorah @2.5% and Vapetrain @5%. Flavorah I enjoyed but thought Vapetrains was a little bland and not one of their better boozy ones. Flavrz is better than both and streets ahead of VT.

As I don’t drink bourbon unfortunately I can’t compare the taste of this concentrate to the alcohol but I will try and explain what I tasted hoping it’s of some use to someone. It had a satisfying mid level sweetness to it and I believe a hint of vanilla too? Not a thick vanilla custard but a slight spice type vanilla. The actual bourbon aspect I suggest was a little laid back in the mix but nonetheless seemed to work very well. I’ve tried some boozy type concentrates before which were quite aggressive but this one isn’t although it delivers on flavour well. Possibly my testing percentage could be upped without any adverse effects and I am going to try just that although as is I find it easily vapeable solo.
When I normally vape boozy concentrates my immediate thoughts turn to a tobacco recipe but this one is the exception where my thoughts head towards a bakery or propping up a custard.

To summarise this concentrate is very enjoyable but in a rather subdued way. That’s not to say it’s devoid of flavour but just not the flavour I expected. The predominant taste is a boozy one but I believe the slightly subdued spicy type vanilla isn’t too far behind which makes for a flavoursome, smooth and satisfying vape. It’s not in your face alcohol flavour which could possibly become a bit hidden in a recipe but I believe also help to smooth harshness if required. For some strange reason it conjures up a vision of sitting under a tree on a warm summers day vaping happily. Strange one but there you go!
8/10 for me and I would buy it again.

Milky Cereal
Flavor Shot by Flavrz. - Straight up was quite excited to try this as can be a cereal lover with the right one. However, was disappointed.
Open, added Nic and topped with VG left to sit for 10days.
Upon re opening with a smell test picked up milk and golden corn flake like perfumes. Added ro tank and puff away. Without reading too much I like to keep thing’s short and sharp. No more than a 6/10 for this. Described as strawberry banana notes I picked up none of this and really nothing but a solid milk texture that perfected with mushy wheat like notes. Added some Flavrz caramel at 2% to hopefully sweeten which did to a degree but not enough to fully bring forward other notes. As a regular Flavrz customer whom ive vaped 95% of there product purchased myself this being one cant say would again.

Pomegranate (FLAVRZ) 8% (7-16-23 ) – Believe it or not, this one turned out a LOT like the previously tested FLAVRZ Pineapple. Please note, this was a DAMNED good flavor, and I think I need a bigger bottle of it, BUT, (ain’t there always a but ?), it was really MUCH more of a red fruit medley, than a Pom. Yes, there WAS some Pom in there, and it was fresh, and natural, BUT, it was literally fighting to take the lead with a DAMNED good red berry pairing. As close as I could come, would be almost a pairing of a cherry, and a red currant. Now THAT, is EXACTLY in my profile, BUT, it was fighting for the lead here with the Pom. At 8% it was damned good, and dare I say, almost One-Shot-ish, meaning, bottle it up, maybe a spritz of sweetener, and call it a day.

Literally I KNOW I’m going to have to down-rate this one, but I’m torn, as it was good enough for me to almost load up a cart at FLAVRZ specifically FOR this flavor, as I could see a LOT of uses for it, AND, it was damned good. The Pom portion was very accurate, and tasted natural as opposed to artificial, and the main carrier, and finish were indeed (as close as I could describe), a mashup of a non-tart, red cherry and red currant, nicely sweetened. Sweetness was at about mid-level, and it suited this flavor, and I had NO off notes (discounting the cherry and red currant notes, as off-notes). No florals, nothing out of place, BUT, it WAS a Pom/Cherry/Red Currant mashup, to my tastes. It could have maybe used a bit of sour/tart to kick it up a nothc, but even that would be a matter of preference. All in, not a great solo Pom, BUT, a “How much is a bigger bottle ?” flavor none the less. As a Pom I will have to down-rate this down to a 5.5/10, but soley because of the other notes which were actually fighting for the lead. As a Pom, don’t get it. As a REALLY good Pom/Cherry/Red Currant DO pick this one up. In closing, leaving this one at about a 6.0/10

Snickerdoodle (FLAVRZ) 8% (BONUS FLAVOR !!!) (7-16-23) – Now maybe @Jetz can chime in on this little “bonus” flavor a little. He did tell me it was rather a “One Off”, and I asked if I could publicly review it, and he agreed. Now, whenever I’ve tried, or eaten a Snickerdoodle, they’ve always been more of a simple sugar cookie, rolled in cinnamon sugar. This flavor however, had no cinnamon, and had a very present coconut. Much lower in the mix, there MAY have been some milk chocolate, and possibly caramel, but it was hard to exactly decipher as the coconut stole the show. The coconut did have a very “Mounds” bar direction, with some sweetness, some creamy-ness, and was slightly astringent. At times, I almost got a graham cracker note, but it waxed and waned, and most times was below the main note(s). If the chocolate was higher in the mix, it would def. have leaned more heavily towards a Mounds Bar. Nothing off-putting except for the somewhat astringency from the coconut, and it was pretty full at 8%. All in, not a Snickerdoodle, or at least not one from the US, and more of a Mounds Bar, with a fairly relaxed chocolate. For an American Snickerdoodle, I’d have to rate it very low at a 2/10, but as a Mounds Bar, I would rate it much higher, at an 8.5/10.

Tobacco #37 which I steeped for 20 days and bought with my own money. I enjoy tobaccos but have had some shockers which tasted nothing like tobacco to me and some which were just terrible. Although Flavrz description of smooth premium tobacco with sweet hints of caramel and burnt sugar didn’t grab me I still wanted to try this one.

The part of the description I found less than desirable was the burnt sugar but thankfully I can’t taste that but it is smooth and enjoyable. Sweetened tobacco isn’t normally my thing either but to be honest I wouldn’t call this flavour sweet as such. Fair enough it’s certainly not as I interpret a deep tobacco taste but to me has more of a relaxed spicy edge. Perhaps I’m confusing the caramel that’s mentioned? Not sure or how if that’s the case but it must be quite light as it is more than just a plain tobacco but certainly not a RY4.

From memory it actually reminds me of VT Cigar Leaf that I’ve mixed previously @5% and also thoroughly enjoyed. The tobacco is light in the mix but works well so I’ve no complaints. I have read Sessiondrummers review and for the most part agree with his comments especially in regards to his point of those that don’t normally vape tobaccos could enjoy this one. I appreciate I’ve mentioned smooth and spicy in my ramblings but that’s not a mistake or a contradiction. The spicy edge isn’t a mouth burner or throat ripper but a relaxed kind of complimentary warmth if that makes sense. I do believe my mixing percentage of 11 could be pushed higher but I don’t feel the need as I’m happy with it as is. I also believe this flavour has some interesting possibilities in recipes too.

To summarise it’s not a Ry4 but is a smooth yet slightly spiced light tobacco that I enjoyed and I believe that vapers on both sides of the tobacco fence could either enjoy straight up or find some interesting uses for. Perhaps both. Works well for me anyway so 9/10 and I would buy it again.

Musk Punk by Flavrz

Steeped 14days, divided into 2x 100ml bottles for easier pouring. Before getting into this review id like to say Musk Flavors ive found over the years very hit and miss however…this one is a HIT.
Very sweet, very musky, very chewy like I remember from the corner store deli from the 1980s/90s growing up. However the twist with this one is a floral like aftertaste that leaves the palate wondering. Most definetly not a rose, more like a stone fruit however cannot work it out my end.
Like anything although the highs are great there is a downfall and that being its a very strong flavor to get out tanks…however like other musl flavors its no suprise. 8.5/10 for this one

The Snickerdoodle flavour as we labeled it to you is more like a Bakery Bonanza flavour type as it was produced for the bakery industry when the other brand no longer complied for import for the [AICIS]( AICIS | Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme … AICIS https://www.industrialchemicals.gov.au).
It is a more toasted nut and coconut flavour complimented with a cream and some cocoa notes. So yes you could say it was a Mounds Bar type of flavour. Though this flavour will pick up AP, Hazelnut note and compliment it as well.

Your review on Pomegranate from your view maybe is more like a Grenadine type of flavour base. It would be interesting to have the Pomegranate at 12%, 2% of our Orange, 3% of Sour as in a 3% solution in PG of citric acid and 3% of malic acid plus .7% of sweet sweet. Would be somewhere close and a very interesting recipe.

Strawberry Kiwi (FLAVRZ) 8% (7-18-23) – This one took a little to settle in, in the tank for a better look at it. The SB and Kiwi were both present, and seemed to center more on the mid notes, and was missing a lot of the higher end, bright notes. There was a somewhat smoothness to it, and it didn’t present as creamy, but it was def. there. The SB And Kiwi tasted 50% natural and 50% artificial, and were fairly evenly blended. At 8% it was full but still somewhat of a lighter flavor. Sweetness was below mid-level, and except for the unexpected smoothness, there were no off-notes. I would have preferred more of the brighter notes that would have helped it punch through more. It was a surprisingly smooth mid-bodied SB and Kiwi. After 3 tanks, I still couldn’t fully identify the “smooth” underlying tones, and I’m not 100% sure that it helped the overall profile. Some take-offs for it, and the lacking bright, high-end punchy notes, and leaving it at a 6.5/10.

Sweet Strawberry (FLAVRZ) 8% (7-19-23) – It seems like every flavor house (and then some) has their own take on Strawberries, this one included. Some people are SB mute, and can’t even taste it, and about everyone has their OWN type they like or want, so trying to make one for the “masses” is complicated. This one was very unique as I’ve never tasted one like it, BUT, hehe, there were some “buts”. First thing was, it felt a little distracted, and the “red currant” flavor I had gotten previously has returned TO the party, and this one tasted more like a somewhat sweet strawberry mashed up with a red currant. Def. not a pure strawberry. At times, I even got a rather nice almost “bubble gum” undertone from it. The SB tasted about 50/50 natural/artificial, and it was somewhat sweet, but perhaps not quite enough to be a “sweet” strawberry. It tasted a few ticks below mid level sweet. NOW, just like in a previous fruit review, the red currant-ish notes DID really work here, and the bubble gum undertones did as well, and it actually tasted very good, BUT, it was billed as a Sweet SB. I am again, torn between fighting the urge to rank it up, because it tasted great, AND the realization, that it needed to be ranked/rated AS a Sweet SB. At 8% it was fairly full but felt it could use a little more. There were no off-notes, but for the aforementioned notes. Because it was a 50/50 natural/artificial mix, and it wasn’t overly bright, or sharp, and didn’t have much tart to speak of, it was smoother than expected. All in, a damned tasty flavor, BUT, really more of a Strawberry, Red Currant mashup, with Bubblegum undertones. Would work very well as a mixer, but not enough to pound home the Sweet Strawberry by itself. Because of that, marking it down a bit, and it felt fairly placed at 6.0/10, about even with the previously tested Pom.

Does anyone have a clue as to what the White on White (Flavrz) flavor is?

Do you have a link?

It isn’t listed, they sent it as a freebie

I definitely taste cinnamon maybe vanilla or vanilla custard, it’s a familiar taste, I just can’t seem to get a good handle on what it is

@Jetz thank you, just trying to figure out with what I should mix it, if anything, as it’s pretty good on its own.
