FLAVRZ Flavors Reviewed by SessionDrummer -- TESTING NOW!

Double Chocolate (FLAVRZ) 2.5% / 5% (4-19-23) – Having tested many of the available chocolates out there, I always look out the typical off-notes such as dryness, bitterness, band aids, etc. Luckily for me (and you guys) NONE were present here. I started out testing this one at 5%, and shortly into it, I decided to reduce it to 2.5% and it felt much better. Even at the higher rate, this flavor never got squirrel-y or strange, BUT, it took on a darker chocolate with fairly high liquor notes. Now, if you want or need more of a chocolate liquor then 5% is your starting point. Reducing to 2.5% it took on a fairly different choco profile, which lightened up a bit, into a mid to mid-dark chocolate, with almost completely eliminated liquor notes. It was not a milk chocolate, nor a dark, but right in the middle. No overt dryness or bitterness, no band aids, and a flavor that tasted pretty accurate, with no detectable off-notes. The shift from 2.5% to 5% was interesting, and a plus as you could “temper” your chocolate as needed. As far as the “double”, it wasn’t a flat, linear chocolate, and fairly complex, which kept it interesting. Sweetness was a little lower than mid-level, and even AT 2.5% you could still reduce more if needed, but it felt and tasted very good at this weight. I’ll experiment with it later, and test it with the Dairy Milk, and Bavarian Cream to see how it shifts, but for the purposes of this review, I had a hard time faulting it. I’m sure you could range this one even further, and push it into yet ANOTHER type of chocolate. At 2.5% you got a good mid to mid-dark chocolate that wasn’t candy bar-ish, nor a baking chocolate, but just right in the middle. The only minor take-off would be for just a pinch of dryness on the finish, but just a touch. 9.0/10.

Well put , Yes you will find you can make the Double Chocolate (hence the name) go from a light syrup chocolate say what is used in the Flavour Shot Chocolate Milk (OG Milkbar style milkshake) to a dark chocolate depending on the % used.
For example the Rich chocolate taste of the FS (Flavour Shot) Chocolate Milk comes from only using .7% in the recipe. Where if you wanted more out of it you can higher to as 5-8%.
Even more or less depending on what you are trying to get out of the chocolate. Pairs extremely well with any cream, milk, custard, bakery or nut flavours.

Bugger it.
That’s tipped me over the edge. I was fighting a loosing battle anyway so succumb to temptation and embrace the wrath of the financial advisor in the family.
Famous last words and I won’t be as brave when I’m on the receiving end from the good lady but this is science which must be used for the bettering of man (and women) kind.

In continuation and sorry @SessionDrummer if I’m asking this in the wrong place but….
@Jetz do you manufacture a throat hit enhancer? I’ve been told on numerous occasions to try WS-23 which I am going to buy from you on this occasion but don’t know how it would blend with tobaccos. I’m not a menthol lover and although I believe WS-23 doesn’t impart a menthol taste I’m still unsure but I am going to try it on fruits as an experiment.
Can I also confirm that the WS-23 you sell isn’t Kooloda as I already have that and don’t rate it.
Again sorry @SessionDrummer and by all means this post can be moved by the powers that be to a more appropriate area if deemed necessary.

As a cooling agent there are many and various applications - WS-3 is the most common of all of them. Though there is WS-5 , WS-12, WS-S500 and WS-23 all can be mixed at various strengths. We have tested 99% of all cooling agents on the market in the Vape World and find most are either WS-23 @ 10% (Koolada) or WS -23 @ 20% (Cool)

Yes, Yes I can hear but mine is 30% WS-23 as it says it on the pack… well most cases (99%) of the time it is NOT the case. It is 20% dilution in PG. They only way you can be sure is to order the WS-23 crystals and make it yourself. WS-23 @ 30% would be 30grams and that is a hell of a lot of cooling powder by volume as it weighs nothing. In 100ml of PG.

Though the

Yes Cooling agents will are made from menthol, though the only ones that are NOT MINTY is WS-12, WS-23 and WSE-500 which will give not mint or menthol tones.

As for your THROAT HIT, I would suggest using FREEBASE NIC instead of SALT BASE as you will most likely get the throat hit you are looking for. May be add in say 0.3% of WS-23

Hope that explains and helps

HERE IS SOME LIGHT READING ON COOLING AGENTS

You will find a little say 0.1-0.3% of WS-23 @20% dilution will lift an ice cream flavour, and fruits that are tropical or summer fruits. Watermelon, Mango, Lychee, Pineapple, etc

@Gazza7 Our COOL in liquid form is WS-23 @ a true 30% dilution. My suggestion would instead of using WS-23 @30%, say at 0.3% to add some throat hit. Use the Koolada which is WS-23 @10%,
Just use x3 as much, so add 0.9 or 1% to your mix and that should give you what you are looking for.

The only difference between Koolada and COOL is the dilution rate - 10% vs 30% depending on where you are sourcing it. Much easier to just purchase the WS-23 powder and mix it at 30% yourself and if you want a Koolada @ 10% then water it down with PG 1part cool to 3 parts PG.

Of note, the LOW MINT Malaysia Juices usually are using WS-3 not WS-23. As WS-3 is low in mint flavour profiles where WS-23 has none.

NO!!! I must resist the urge to buy!!! Then again since most of the flavor names are similar to VT and they are from Australia, I could simply tell the wife that I’m restocking VT flavors. Then again better not take the chance I don’t wanna go back in the DH.

I’ll be headed to the DH today as I am now searching through the flavors I desperately need, um want!
@Jetz how long does it take to receive an order here in the USA?

@Gazza7, @TimWV, @KC111, @fidalgo_vapes, @McDuckie I’m reminded of how RARE, and nice it is, to have a MFG be so involved in their product, AND, helping out on the review thread. Very nice indeed.

What’s the shipping time and cost to the U.S. (midwest)?

Freight is via ARAMEX or DHL which are both very reliable and fast freight companies. Every order that goes to the USA takes about 4-7 days including Customs clearance. It takes about two- three days to transport and clear our end. As all freight going to the USA and EUROPE goes via SYDNEY.

Hope that helps, @SessionDrummer, @HunkyVape @fidalgo_vapes for example only took 8days from the time we generated a label and the picked the order to the time it was delivered in the USA via UPS.

Thanks

Placed an order. I’ve probably missed a couple but I tried!

I keep reading about TFA marshmallow and don’t have it so I opted for the ‘standard’ there. Mango Jam and Farmhouse Custard have me wondering.
It’s not that I ignored your advice @Jetz but as I’m a complete novice with WS-23 I decided to travel the safe route and not risk overdosing trying to mix up crystals.
Code worked.

I’m thinking a lot of people here were hanging out for @SessionDrummer reviews as I was but I need PG,wanted to finally try WS-23 and basically decided it was time to sample some of Flavrz offerings for myself anyway.
Thanks for all your assistance @Jetz and I’m sure I’m not alone in saying that.

I won’t say anything to my financial advisor and hopefully this slips under the radar until she checks the credit card statement!
Gives me time to prepare.

This Flavour is the substitute for the brand name, it will be very similar profiles though does not have any of the DAAP or other compound in it like benzyl alcohol which are not that great to be atomised.

Like any reference to a commonly used flavouring, our flavour names online are their substitute, generally. Though will mix differently and you may need to adjust percentages.
