I agree, there are a lot of interesting aspects of TC. Looking to Steam Engine, the tcr values of SS never change (at least for what I have built) regardless of the complexity of the coil. What Steam Engine does provide is the index “TC Precision”. It’s interesting to me that the precision for a simple clapton is greater than single round wire but parallel clapton has a lesser precision than either. Regarding the position of the wrap measured, at the moment I am looking at that as a function of time, e.g. all wraps will come up to temperature. I measure a center wrap attempting to prohibit mod time out interfering with testing. Whether that is accurate or no, it is serving a function for testing. The actual temperature of the vape is an entirely different bag of worms. So much involved in that.
