what are peoples thoughts on this mod? Was thinking of getting a g class but am not fond of the carbon fiber or leather. Is the chip on this similiar?

I’ve heard this one is really good and so is the ipv eclipse. The ipv eclipse has the same chip as far as I know as well. I think it’s a little cheaper than the vboy. Both are nice looking mods!

The Eclipse uses the SX420. I’m not sure what the difference is though. Neither chips really compare to the SX550J chip. Their really is no comparison between these mods and the G Class. The Yihi is an exceptionally well built device with high quality materials, superior craftsmanship and the price tag to go with it… The VBOY and Eclipse are decent mods that are priced accordingly.

Not sure either about these two newer mods, but I have the G class and an IPV8. The IPV8 is basic. It does however do a very nice job with temp control as does the G class obviously.

You may want to check out the technically review from Daniel djlsb vapes on YouTube. Basic same chip slightly different menus but same performance. Just saying.

As far as Power and TC goes yes they match up well but the G Class is a flagship mod with many cool features. Functionality is very similar but the efficiency of the SX550J is slightly higher. The SX500 has joystick control on the board but the VBOY does not seem to use it. The G Class has USB 3.0 (Type C) and App Control via Bluetooth. Overall it comes down to whether or not you want to pay for all the cool little toys that the SX550J has to offer. As far as the difference between the SX420 and the SX500 I cant say. I have no experience with it and I think it is made exclusively for Pioneer4U.

Thats what i did I watched the reviews by DJlsb earlier today… I love that guy he is especially amusing when he gets annoyed lmao. I think you both are right to a certain extent @Chrispdx and @louiesquared they are very very similar mods with some differences I think he said the G class has less delay and something about other options and temp coefficients… Also the g class 510 is framed better. And has spring loaded battery door. i think i scared i will break the toggle on the g class and i agree with djslb that the grooves on the VBoy will be dirt/ juice magnets. I think i will be most happy with the eclipse.

Thanks! There was a 5% discount but 10% is better! Preordered the Ijoy Capo Squonker for $31. Hopefully I’ll see it by Christmas. I’ve never preordered anything before and I’ve read of some horror stories about preordering from FT but I guess we’ll see…

I have ordered and pre-ordered from FS a few times and I think the longest was six weeks after the item was in. So maybe it won’t be so bad.

Have you considered the SX mini Q class? Personally the SX 450J is my favorite Yihi Chip.
