Just for shits and giggles I decided to whip up a drip tip for the Valhalla RDA. It’s proprietary and the one it comes with sucks.
Should have been named The Chungus. Gonna have to cut some juice down to 1mg, 3mg is overwhelming.
Runs happy anywhere between 240-280W.

Some more fiddling with the Avalanche / Dead Rabbit Mini combo.
I think I found a RDL combo for my 50/50 juice that rivals the pods.
2x28+40 SS coil - 3mm ID. 2 airholes open. Running at 32W with YiHi’s pure mode. Goes all the way dry with no toasty hits.
8.5mls of juice and a 21700 for battery. Goes for days in a damn near disposable form factor.

I really like the mod you’re holding. I know the avalanche is a mec mod, so have you installed the yihi chip yourself or did it come like that. I’ve got an sx mini sl class V2 and it’s one of my favourite mods but I’m intrigued by the pure setting your chip has. Mine doesn’t have one.

It’s the Avalanche V2R, he sells them with the chip. Not sure what kind of stock he has at the moment. He’s been focused the new one, which is basically an aluminum 18650 version of the same thing. Crevasse I think it’s called. If I didn’t already have the Avalanche I would have grabbed a Crevasse like, yesterday.
TBH I kinda stumbled on the Pure mode. I’ve had this thing for a while and had no idea it was even there.
I also have a SX Mini V2 and had to go double check it when I found it on the Avalanche. Nope, no Pure on the V2. The chip in the V2 is the SX730 and the chip in the Avalanche is the SX735J.
I don’t know why YiHi hasn’t put more hype behind their Pure function. It’s basically DNA replay but even easier. There’s no saving puffs. Just select it, set the ohms cold, and vape away like it’s wattage mode. You still have to use a TC compatible coil but it does all the resistance monitoring in the background to avoid the dry hits. I can vape it down dry but can feel it throttling power as it does. I know it’s dry way before it even thinks about burning anything.
