Hand Checks 2025

Muth it already has a 2A balance charger on the board, and that 2A is split between the # of cells. Even at that, it will be a slow go to rebalance if they do get out of sync. An external charger would be quicker but not necessary.

Can you recommend a good external balance charger? Even though I only have one lipo mod, I am kind of OCD when it comes to batteries and wouldn’t mind having one. Thx

I purchased mine from Amazon a little while back, it’s a Tenergy balance charger. Very good price and works fantastic, Tenergy is a great brand

The main thing with your lipo is to keep it in regular use and don’t let your batteries percentage get too low before recharging, don’t let it go much lower than between 20-25% before you charge back up!

Thank you. Yes, I noticed that when I used an Anker wall adapter to charge via USB, it charged faster than I anticipated and the mod was warm to the touch by the time I realized it.

The link says product no longer available. There is a Tenergy shop on Amazon so I’ll take a look. (nope, wrong about that). There must be Tenergy online website, I’m sure.

So, I can plug the mod directly into this charger? The battery isn’t removable from what I understand.

Interesting, I always have to use pod systems for work when I can’t be blowing clouds everywhere. I’ve tried everything except Oxva. Caliburn A2 and A3 are my tops for flavor. Better then the G3, Xros 4, everything. I see Canvape in Barrie has some Oxva stuff. Will probably grab one or two. Nick Green is always going on about Oxva pods.

You in Barrie or ordering online? That was my hometown :canada:

The new argus g3 looks interesting aswell J, it has that disposable style coil & wicking material.
Oxvas are still my favourite overall pod devices though, their coil life has been at least double of any others i have tried. The puremax was also good for flavour but they leak & break too damn easy, xros i never got along with, the flavour drop after 3 days was just unbearable for me, even worse with the newer corex 2.0 pods.
The ones i rate the highest are oxva xlim/Nexlim/oneo/v-prime, caliburn (both a & g are good but i did prefer the g’s personally), puremax(v2/sq), argus g2/p2, lost vape ursa nano pro2, even the little aspire goteks were decent budget kits., & i imagine that new argus g3 will be another good one too, havent tried it myself yet.

Nice, I have the purple, too. How’s that battery door working out for you? I got a couple with the bully magnets that wouldn’t let go, lol.

I was past the Scarborough canvape location today to grab a new battery for concentrates(thc). It’s been a while and the place has changed…

Battery door is fine, i do recall you mentioning having an issue with the magnets being too tight a while back, i got this when they released the second batch with the upgraded UI & fire button fix so maybe the magnet/door issue was with batch one or something? Or maybe just down to luck?

To use the balance charger you will need to plug the battery directly into it. You should be able to comfortably get access to your battery by taking a panel of the lipo mod off(they’re usually connected with magnets) the battery will be plugged into the chip with a JST connector and you just need to disconnect that jst connector from the chip and plug it into the balance charger. Now you have a direct path from the balance charger to your battery and you can start your balance charging until the battery is fully charged and balanced. It’s very easy to do and if you ever have the need to use it and need any further help please don’t hesitate to ask away! You can contact me at anytime muth :+1:

I’ve always been team Caliburn for all my mouth to lung pod needs, everything else I’ve tried just hasn’t had the flavor or pod longevity of the Caliburns, despite the odd ones that leak they’ve always been my go to. Excited to try some Oxva.

I also recommend Oxva. I didn’t like the drop of flavour with Vaporesso and tried a couple of their range. The Oxva Vprime definitely for me has way better flavour than the Xlim Pro 2. Using the 0.6 pods at 22 watts with a very sweet commercial juice the pod/coil lasts me over a week with very heavy use! Not had 1 leak either and not had a duff coil and been buying them since xmas. Xlim pro is very handy for when its raining and on the go cos it easily slips up sleeve!

I have two Allen screws securing the chip panel onto the mod. Iirc, I read other owners saying that the lipo was soldered to the board. Do you think it’s okay to unscrew the panel and take a peek inside? It won’t be the first mod I’ve taken apart but I don’t want to mess it up, either. The instructions give the battery model number. Would that help in any way?

Me and other members here when we bought them on sale at VaperzCloud. Being on sale, I’m assuming they weren’t the first releases but who knows? I know they had been out for awhile when we got them. What was wrong with the power button?

I think Kinnikinnick was looking for an ePipe. No, maybe that was @McDuckie ? What kind is that and are you happy with it?
