I'm looking for a cigar flavor with cedar notes

Saw your post in the whatever clone thread, which reminded me to tell you I’ve found a couple of tobaccos lately which do have a cedar note in the flavor. You might not be able to get theses in AU, but thought I’d throw them out there just in case you saw them somewhere and COULD get them.

EuroFlavor:
Orient Tobacco Black
Cigar Cuba
Cigar Dominican Republic

ECX:
Seven Stars

I would bet you a buck that Super Concentrated (SC) Seven Stars is the same thing. However, I looked through the VZ list but didn’t see it listed. BCV does carry the SC Seven Stars; next time I order from BCV, I’ll get some and confirm my suspicions.

All of these have a nice cedar or sandalwood note; very nice for additions to a cigar type vape. :+1:

Thx for the heads-up, Jim… but just my luck, Ive never seen either of these brands over here. I think I’ve just gotta face-up to spending some bucks on imports Gulp. But now im in a pickle… do I get these… or the stack I’ve wanted from net.com… or the ones cloud_gerbil spoke of the other day??? I WANT THEM ALL!!! Aagh… cheers, vT

Def. net.com! :sunglasses:

Can’t go wrong with those guys. You can wait on the other stuff.

Yep, thanks! I’ve got a couple in mind…

& another question, if you dont mind… un-related… of pronunciation.
I’ve been wondering for quite some time… is it Kinni-kinnic, or Kinnik-innik?

Hehe…don’t mind at all. Depending on you nationality, the word is pronounced a few different ways. I feel like the former would have been the way the Native Americans would have pronounced the word.

Thats the way I was leaning… interesting though that she pronounces the end as more of an “eak” than an “ick” …ea(c)k it is. Thank you.

Great hear some lads vaping the JF super concentrates. I didn’t think what we did here down under was known overseas. I love JF super-concentrates and have been blasting JF Black Fire at 5% for quite a while as an ADV. I also have a big batch of French Pipe and Old Captain steeping. I am interested in finding some JF mixing recipes though as it would be nice to bring some depth and perhaps another nuance to some of their tobaccos. I have a few more of their tobaccos coming in the mail which I will try standalone before I even think of mixing.

True as said above - to many flavours, not enough time!

Good Luck! Pretty sure @Josephine_van_Rijn has a few listed… (aka Jose on the recipe site).

Also, the JF flavors are the same as any of the flavors listed as SC in the flavor list… pretty much the same manufacturer (China - Xi’an - “whoever”) :grinning:

Thanks Kinni, yeah it looks like slim pickings, might have to come down to
personal experimentation. I will have a look through the site though as I
see there is a little but of use of the concentrates there. Cheers!

I missed this, but yes JF has been my go to place for SC’s. There no market in Europe apparently apart from flaywer.de but their selection is not as big as JF’s.
As @Kinnikinnick said all the SC’s are from the same place no matter who sells them. JF, VZ etc, not a hell of a lot of notes on them but the average percentage is between 3-5%. I usually start at 3 and then go up when necessary. I never been higher than 5% though cause they are SC
