Ultimate Cookie Dough (Flavor Jungle) 3% (7-18-25) – I had to spend some EXTRA time with this one, JUST to get my ducks in a row. For my tastes, this one is a MASTERPIECE, and I THINK I know who designed it, but I’m not going to state it publicly. There are a few ok cookie doughs, but there are far more NOT ok cookie doughs. This one, is a GREAT cookie dough. Smelling it in the bottle, WILL make you think you’lve got a bowl, of freshly mixed up cookie dough, right in front of you. One of the things I liked the BEST was that there were no “choco chips” in here, so it was a blank canvas, just ready to be used in any way you wanted. VERY, very good, accurate, and just plain damned tasty. Flour, butter, sugar, milk, eggs, vanilla, and brown sugar were all in here. There may have been some light AP added to give it some weight/grain, but if so, it was VERY low in the mix, so fear not AP-opposers, you are good to go.
At the prescribed 3% it was very good, rich, and full, and MIGHT be able to be pushed up another 0.5%, but I didn’t feel the need to. There was a very realistic grainy-ness, or “bakery weight” as I call it to this one. Not “thick”, but it had some nice “weight” to it, which really helped sell it. Dare I say, if you just wanted a non-choco-chip cookie dough, you could solo this one, ALL day long. It tasted like a 9.5/10 on the strength scale at this weight, and sweetness was at, or JUST below mid-level, which felt good. I realize that “Ultimate” is a brand name, and not a statement, but this one really DID taste like the Ultimate Cookie Dough. Freshly mixed up cookie dough with no choco chips. Hands down, BBA (Big Bottle Approved), and let’s release the Kraken here, with a 10/10.
