Great comparison review @mjag! :+1:

I still don’t think I’ll ever get a pod system. I’m more of a “big guns” person. The same reason why I prefer a laptop over a tablet… it just gives me more options.

The other day I lent out my Aspire Plato (MTL) to someone who wants to try it. I hadn’t used it in a while but I was amazed how easy it is to get a nic fix with minimal vapor output and it also fits nicely in my hand without dragging the attention.

Any of those pod systems that are non-rechargeable and non-refillable wouldn’t even get my attention. Too much waste already! Even if they were really good, I wouldn’t want to like them nor would I ever want someone else to be tempted by them. Cigarette buds were already a plague, replacing them with battery operated plastic devices shouldn’t be the alternative.

Thanks my friend! I do enjoy those 2 as well, surprising at how you can get that nic fix without creating your own weather system…lol

Thank you @CosmicTruth, really appreciate it buddy :+1:

Thanks to you as well @anon28032772 and you make a great point and one that didn’t occur to me under this pile of pods. The closed systems do add to waste much quicker, a better alternative if for me to order a bottle of King Pin salt nic to get my fix with these other devices.

Nice review, @mjag! Thanks for taking your time to do it. I’d like to have a pod system when going out, but I think I’d prefer a small mod with a MTL rebuildable tank instead. I live in Brazil and the costs for closed system pods or pre-made coils are ridiculous. I still miss the throat hit from the cigarette however. I’m almost happy with the throat hit using 12mg freebase nic in a MTL tank. I’ve tried some pod devices (MyJet, Hiro, iShare) once with 30mg to 45mg nicsalt and I was extremely disappointed that I got no throat hit at all and very little flavor.

You made me look and now my eyes bleed. It might be functionally good but by his holy tentacles it is ugly.

Thanks man and yeah, I did have to spread out writing the review into 2 days as the first day I got such a nic rush I had to stop…lol.

Thank you @wvsanta

Thanks @Mix_and_Hope and LOL, make sure you catch that on video

Thank you @tchelisflavors, it did take some time but if it helps then it was worth it. The Mi-pod might be for you to get that throat hit but if I was you I would stick with the mtl rebuildable. None of these are going to match the flavor of a great mtl tank.

@SuperFrog ehhh, the Pico S won’t win any beauty contests but it is well made and the looks are a love it or hate it. I like that they stepped away from the usual boring Pico design of the past and the build quality is a step up. The new Pico Squeeze 2 is a looker in my book but hey, that’s why they make a variety of mods.

Joyetech Exceed Edge

Just wanted to kick in an answer for my friends at Joyetech: When the atomizer coil floods, take the tank apart and tighten the coil and parts firmly, check O-rings if there are any on that device to see they are in position and not damaged. After the device is re-assembled and filled shake it like a thermometer to get excess e-liquid out of the coil and drip tip. Clean the drip tip and device with a towel and take a couple of puffs to clear the coil.
It helps to store the device upright if the problem persists.

Another great review. Lots of useful info here to digest. I bought a Vaptio C-Flat (working class version, not executive) on a whim and while it isn’t really my thing, I could see Stealth-Nic applications for it. I went ahead and purchased 5 more to give to clients that are looking to quit the sticks.

Good for you, anything to help people quit the sticks :+1:

Amazing reviews! I have been trying to figure out if I should try pods since they seem to be the “in” thing right now. But you just taught me a lot about what they actually are and for sure don’t match my style of vaping.

I’m all about the flavor

Thanks for saving me money, and your huge amount of time and effort in testing and reviewing all these!

My pleasure, glad it helped.

Must admit though, pods have come a long way since then. The Geekvape Aegis Boost is still a pod I use and just ordered the RBA for it today. I am hoping the RBA is good, looks like one of the better ones I have seen. Will try and update my review once I have have time to use it properly. The flavor out of the Boost mesh coils is on par with medium wattage subohm tanks, impressed with it still.

There are other pods that have impressed me since but I am only interested in the ones that have an RBA option, hate buying coils. All the other RBA for pods I have tried have pretty much sucked, the Boost RBA looks really good though.
