NEW 2025 Bull City Flavors Line

Still working on the Coffee Candies… but did Grape Slushies today!
(and got a brain freeze, lol)

First I made a 3:2 Simple Syrup, (3 parts sugar / 2 parts water) which is approximately the same SG as Vg,
Then I put it in the ELR calculator as a max VG recipe and added 1% of Grape Slush (BCF) to the syrup.

Final recipe was:
16oz crushed ice
4oz flavored syrup
2oz water

I made Nips! Dont know if they still taste the same as the company who originally made them sold them to Brachs. I used to eat them constantly, i dont mean let them dissolve in my face hole, i used to pop hard candy in my mouth and chew them right up. Probably why my teeth are all crap.

Anyways. First mix was just Coffee Candy and Sweetener, it wasnt bad but it need some Vanilla and Rich Van seems to have fit the bill.

Pretty good after a heat, shake and rest for a few hours. Im thinking the Coffee Candy will settle down a bit so i went a bit higher on the second mix.

Any coolant? And thanks for adding them all to the DB, Rocky.

@SessionDrummer That Rootbeer, you really can almost smell the bubbles.

@wllmc I only grabbed 4 but they are all quite good so far. Next time you do a mass release how about a flavor pack? I would have likely purchased it instead of only 4 flavors. These surprised me, i grabbed what i knew i would like. Great job and thank you!

Of course now i want some of the others and they are sold out, story of my life, lol.

Not getting any coolant. I’ve never been a fan of grape flavors, but the Grape Slush is pretty dang good! Sweet but a little weak off the shake, testing at 4% (could probably push it to 6) but still steeping…

Nice, when it comes back in stock i reckon ill grab it. I dont mind coolant but it has to be the right one, its just better to let people add their own.

Well my first batch of Kopiko Candy came out pretty decent, I used a basic small batch (1 cup sugar) hard candy recipe, with the addition of 1/4 cup milk powder and 1 tsp Coffee Candy (BCF)

Im definitely going to have to make some of those, yummy! Good job, Rocky, and thanks for sharing.

Edit: One of my favorite candy flavors i made was just Custard INW. So creamy and delicious. Made Strawnana Custard a couple times too but they werent all that good.

I have in the past. Candy, flavored water sometimes with caffeine, frosting, jams/jellys, all kinds of stuff. Havent made hard candy in a long while tho, ive broken a couple of teeth eating the stuff as im to tarded to just let it dissolve in my mouth.

Jojo got me started making candy, she made it in the microwave so i gave it a shot a few times. Pretty easy but i prefer making it on the stove, easier to monitor the temp.

Last time i made Pannukakku i used French Van Silver MF instead of Van MF to church it up a bit, so good. Pannu is a Finnish pancake that is really a custard, so darn yummy.

These flavors are so versatile that i feel bad ive let some get to waste Considering you can use them for almost anything like adding a several drops on the cardboard part of your furnace filter to scent up the house.

Sorry for all the words…

No, don’t apologize, I learned something. Plus you reminded me that I need to buy a microwave. The old one died. I need to check out Pannu. Omg that sounds divine.

It is incredibly easy to make. They eat it for breakfast warm or desserts cold. I like to put a small bit of blueberry jam on top right before eating.

Only need a couple drops of either vanilla, i do 5 drops Van MF or 2-3 drops FVan Silver.

I can Google it I suppose. I thought custard was hard to make but I’ll see.

This is just egg, flour, sugar, butter, milk, salt and some nilla of choice. Here is the recipe i started with:

I dropped the sugar down to 3/4c because i add jam on top. And this recipe sounds easy because it is, approved by my fat Finnish/German uncle.

I bet replacing the Vanilla with that BCF Coffee Candy would be good in it too, increase to maybe half teaspoon or less?

That’s all I need to know :+1:
