NEW 2025 NomNomz Super Concentrates Reviewed by SessionDrummer

Well you’re very kind to say that, and thank you @Lucas_James_Holden. I am very curious to hear your thoughts on it, and if you pick up any of the same nuances I did or not. I’ll have to check the master sheet, but I think the only other one I actually SFT’d was WF’s.

Well I mixed it up at 1.5% 70/30 VG/PG and it’s had a good three weeks steeping time, unfortunately the results are pretty much a carbon copy of yours and unless it works better at a lower percentage in a recipe with other flavours then I can’t see myself using it and will stick with the WF version. I also agree with you that there is something half decent underneath all of that AP note that could resemble a crepe but it gets trampled on sadly. I think that TPA Pancake bares more resemblance to a crepe than this flavour does if used correctly, Fresh03 turned me onto that flavour many years ago with his Jack Johnson Banana Pancake recipe and iIrc he spoke about it on one of the Noted shows on YouTube. I just wish Nomz would rework this flavour because they have got part of it right.

This one goes out to @RicklePick-Eddie1z.

Lemon (SC) (Nomz) 1.5% (2-25-26) – ALRIGHTY, I FINALLY get to get into this one. The OG bottle was damaged in shipment. Kicking into this one at 1.5%, AND, a 2.5 week steep just to see how faded (or not) it would be. It actually tasted pretty good, fairly strong, and at about a 7/10 on the strength scale. As a disclaimer, every time I test a Lemon, I always mentally compare it to Medicine Flower Lemon. After much research, errrrr testing, I finally decoded that I was getting THREE types of lemons from this one. A lemonade, a sweet lemon candy, and a hint of real lemon. YES, you read that right hehe. It was somewhat sweetened, which worked to enhance the “candy” and “lemonade” profiles, but on the finish, there was just a little KICK, of a natural lemon. There was a nice tartness on the finish with hints of zest and citrus oil. Overall, it did favor a mostly artificial lemon with distinct candy/sweetened notes.

It was an interesting one to test, as it consistently started as more of a lemonade, and during the middle much more of a candy lemon, and finished with the light, but still present natural lemon with some zest. Sweetness was about a tick below mid-level, and after two testers, I couldn’t find any off-notes to complain about. All in, an interesting one from NomNomz, and one that straddled a couple of Lemon nuances. I think it’s uses will reach fairly wide, as it never fully fell into one specific lemon, which will broaden it’s reach/uses. Finalizing it at an 9/10. Possibly bump it to 2.0%, but even at 1.5% it was pretty solid, and full.
