NEW Flavorah Flavors Reviewed by SessionDrummer -- TESTING NOW!

I thought I remembered high praise from you on this one, just ordered a bigger bottle straight up. There was only this one and the popsicle one available down here.

Thatā€™s the impression I got of some of the comments I had read. It was when I was playing with crumble again that I bit the bullet.
Must be 6 months since I ordered anything new, thatā€™s a record.

Torrone (Flavorah) 1% (11-11-23) ā€“ Closing out this series of NEW Flavorah flavors with the Torrone. Many of the other torrones Iā€™ve tested, were fairly dark and bitter, and this one, while fairly clear in the bottle did have some bitter overtones when smelling it. The great news was, it didnā€™t present that way. It had a very nice, but somewhat light nougat main note, which was tempered by a very nice almond note, with a light cherry overtone. Very nice. Flavorah described this one as not bullying flavors in mixes, and that would seem to be accurate, given that it was somewhat relaxed at my 1% testing weight. Not thin, or light, but relaxed. I know some Tā€™s have lemon accents, and I didnā€™t pick up on any here. That was perfectly ok because the almond/cherry combo, DID work here. Tasty, nougat-y, and would appear to NOT run ripshod over mixes. No off-notes, including no bitterness, and sweetness was actually a few ticks below mid-level. All in, an impressive Torrone, that was slightly relaxed, but with some very nice almond, and cherry notes. Closing out the series with this one, and leaving it fairly high due to itā€™s accuracy, and lack of heavy handed-ness. 9.0/10.

Thank you very much @KC111. After posting the reviews here, I stack the flavor notes on the recipe side, and I saw you had quite a few of these ?

I took advantage of the pack when it was newly released but looks like I might have to get a few of them in larger bottles, too.

Agreed.
Thanks @SessionDrummer for all your hard efforts again. I ordered the Saturn Peach from this run going from your opinions and others Iā€™d read.
I also ordered the Jammy Grape but from memory I donā€™t think that was from this release?
Shooting off on a tangent but I finally decided to give TFA Peanut Butter DX a go too.

Thank you very much @Gazza7, and do not hesitate to put up some reviews once you get them if you feel like it.

I didnā€™t see that one in this release, so it must have been prior.

Will wait to see what you think of THAT one.

Well Iā€™m very glad to hear that @Plunderdrum, and thank you very much. I think I DID have NFā€™s BB at one point, but canā€™t find it now. I think I have to change that.

Itā€™s too early to tell, but i may have a little too much bread and peanut butter in this. Just a smidge less might let the jam pop back up on top. A proper steep could fix it, though.

diyvs is still the only place i know to buy NF in small bottles. NF website smallest is 2oz!

@Plunderdrum turns out I DID have it, and mixed it up. Steeping now ā€¦

@Plunderdrum seeing as though you ARE the resident (and elsewhere) NF expert, you should drop a ā€œMust Haveā€, or ā€œShould Haveā€ list for everyone.
