Seriously! I am about to stick a straw into your photo… great pic!

Thanks @SthrnMixer and @BoDarc… I’m having a lot better luck recreating actual recipes than trying to pair and create my own. Most of these MF topnote flavors are so spot on that it’s like mixing real foods in the kitchen.

Well if they’ll come out with pinto beans and cornbread or bbq ribs and collard greens I’d be all over it!

In all seriousness I’m thinking more and more each day of eliminating much of my stash and only going for the absolute cream of the crop. I look at the hundreds of dollars I’ve spent on flavorings and see a whole lot of waste. There are some flavors which have been a staple for me that now…well let’s just say I’m growing a little weary of the artificial aspect of them. Coconut is probably at the top of the list too, and I just bought 60 ml of TPA Coconut Extra. sthrnixer=dumbass. My guess is in another 6 mos or so I’ll be flush with more extracts than flavors. We’ll see.

Since I’ve gotten on the subject, have you had any experience with anything creamy from MF? My fondness for creams hasn’t faded but I am certainly interested in higher quality.

Man… I can’t express how much I agree with you here. I’m fairly certain I have at least 700 total concentrates. I’ve narrowed it down to about 150 I’m actually using and about 50-60 I use most often. I’m starting to think simplicity is the key to successful mixing… along with using the best of the best. <<< HIGHLY SUBJECTIVE!

No I haven’t. I mostly turn to MF for fruit notes. FA, CAP and TPA seems to have the best creams IMO. I just started using the Real Flavors Raw Extracts and these seem to have some potential.

This is one of my latest recipe attempts got ideas from Samsquanch by Notcharlesmanson and Yeti??? Turned out not to bad

Blueberry FW 8%
Forest Fruit FA 1%
Sweet Cream TPA 3%
Marshmallow TPA 1%
Hazelnut FW 1.5%
Coconut TFA 1%

Taste fading could 've vapers tongue or need a new coil, any tips on improving this recipe would be great

I have all those flavors. What’s the steep time?

I would give it a week, to be honest I lost track of how the flavour changed because I was vaping so many flavours (getting rid of nearly empty bottles I kept finding in all my pockets)

I just have to say ProVapes, I also have discovered that I can mix up several MF fruits as in your 'Fruit Cup" recipe and it’s always good. Sometimes it’s Raspberry and Blueberry or Rasp and Blk berry or Strawb Watermelon and Blueberry. All is always good. I usually add some custard and cream and sweetener and It’s always terrific. I keep my MF flavors mixed at 3% so it’s like a half dropper of Blueberry, 4 drops of Watermelon and perhaps some MF Vanilla or Caramel or Butterscotch. It’s like my MF Bar. I add some diluter which is VG/PG/Nic and shake and I’m always satisfied and it’s always different.

@Pro_Vapes you are inspiring quite a few people including myself , ive been watching yiu post these recipes and thinking wow this guy is doing it the right way , im hoping to move in the same direction as you but want to feel i fully understand these other flaves i already have , great job , do you feel FA is a better quality flavor compared to FW CAP AND TPA or would you put them in same category

Yeah, I have to agree with Fidalgo. The more glowing reviews I read on MF the harder it is becoming not to cave in and add them to the list.

I really hope that some vendor somewhere will start selling them in a 5-7ml size!

ECX sells in a 5ml bottle @ 9.99 each i have the strawberry and like to add 1 pct to any strawberry recipe it makes a huge difference

IMO they are better. When I first started the move away from those vendors FA was my 1st choice. I also love FLV and INW. But the MF extracts are in a league of their own.

I agree with this almost 100%. There are a couple of MF I won’t use. But the ones I’ve had are very authentic tasting aside from like Pineapple and Tropical Fruit which were huge disappointments. Those two alone are nearly $50 worth of flavoring I probably won’t ever use :frowning:

Still, FA, FLV and INW are really close behind with a lot of their flavors. Can’t see eliminating them entirely.

I have been trying to make a pistachio pudding recipe that tastes like the instant pudding mix. This is as close as I’ve been able to get it. Looked at a bunch of recipes for home made version and I will copy and paste my notes too. Anyone have the ingredients and willing to mix and give me some constructive criticism please? It’s so close, but can’t quite get all the way there?

Pistachio Pudding V5

Ingredient %
Almond (FA) 1.5
Bavarian Cream (TPA) 2
Golden Butter (CAP) 0.5
Malted Milk (TPA) 1
Pistachio (TPA) 5
Stevia 0.25
Vanilla Custard v1 (CAP) 1.5
Vanilla Shisha (INAWERA) 0.5
Vanilla Swirl (TPA) 2
Vienna Cream (FA) 1.5
Whipped Cream (TPA) 1.5

Flavor total: 17.25%

Remember to rate it at e-liquid-recipes.com!

Notes:

Didn’t taste like pudding, replaced bav cr with vienna, lowered pistachio by 2%, doubled cream fresh. Raised marshmallow by .5%

TRY WITH ALMOND FA…IT’S THE THIRD INGREDIENT ON PUDDING BOX.

BUTTER WAS ALSO IN ALL HOMEMADE RECIPES I FOUND N RESEARCH.

V2 Very good, but too much vanilla and too light pistachio.
Pistachio Pudding V2 :

1.5% Almond (FA)
3% Bavarian Cream (TPA)
0.25% Golden Butter (CAP)
0.5% Malted Milk (TPA)
6% Pistachio (TPA)
3% Vanilla Custard (Flavorah)
2% Vanilla Shisha (INAWERA)
1.5% Vienna Cream (FA)

Flavor total: 17.75%

Pistachio Pudding V3 :
1.5% Almond (FA)
2% Bavarian Cream (TPA)
0.25% Golden Butter (CAP)
1% Malted Milk (TPA)
8% Pistachio (TPA)
3% Vanilla Custard (Flavorah)
0.5% Vanilla Shisha (INAWERA)
1.5% Vienna Cream (FA)

Flavor total: 17.75%

Has a toasted nut flavor. Pistachio too strong now. Lowering pistachio. Replacing flv custard with vanilla swirl and CAP v1

Pistachio Pudding V4

1.5% Almond (FA)
2% Bavarian Cream (TPA)
0.5% Golden Butter (CAP)
1% Malted Milk (TPA)
5% Pistachio (TPA)
1.5% Vanilla Custard v1 (CAP)
0.5% Vanilla Shisha (INAWERA)
2% Vanilla Swirl (TPA)
1.5% Vienna Cream (FA)

Flavor total: 15.5%

Very good, creamy and sweet. Has that toasted nut flavor. Adding a bit of whipped topping for thicker mouth feel. Also trying with liquid stevia, thinking this is one of those that requires a sweetener for that authentic taste.

This is sooooo yummy. The WC added that mouth feel and Stevia is perfect to me. Loving this!

This is where I was, as time has gone on still seems wrong??? grrrrr

Without ever having pistachio pudding, I want to suggest Marzipan. It looks really good as it is though. :stuck_out_tongue: Keeping this for later.

I’ve had great success with vanilla pudding flv and pistachio flv.

I have that. Just haven’t used it much, so I’m not familiar with the flavor yet. What percentage do you recommend I start with?

I don’t have either of those yet. I had heard the pistachio was a bit dry and prominently nutty, which I was thinking might not go well in a pudding? Is the Vanilla pudding authentic? And what are your thoughts on the pistachio?

Thank you both!!

Good lord, you all are a terrible influence on me. :cold_sweat: All these glorious recipes that I need a few dozen more flavors to make and trying to stay on a budget… I’m doomed!

Maybe sub one of the creams with French Vanilla (TPA) (or other Vendor)
