One on One Tasting Notes

@Rocky02852 I actually held off hoping to get some more suggestions because I didn’t want to order blind and get several bottles of battery acid lol, thanks for the input, I will add those, particularly the corn bread as it’s a food group all its own here in West Virginia!

Strawberry Jam - One on One (discontinued) vs Strawberry (Toast & Jam) OOO (new)
The SB toast and jam is billed as: "a combination of Strawberry Ripe and Cereal (Honey Puffs)” from my conversation with One on One and I was told that: “Yes, it can be a sub for SB Jam but try a 1oz or 2oz first to make sure it works”, so I did…
Tested both side by side at 5%, 4 day steep and can confirm (for my taste) that they are both the same (with very minor differences, probably due to old jam vs new toast & jam)… I never did get the butter note that others get in the Strawberry Jam and still don’t, maybe it was the Honey Puffs that was throwing ppl off - or am I immune to honey ?

So I’m confused… The old sb jam is replaced by the toast and jam, which is actually honey cereal and sb jam… did the old sb jam have honey cereal and just a new sb jam?

The SB Jam is discontined.(again)…
There’s a new flavor called Strawberry (Toast & Jam) which is a combination of Strawberry Ripe and Honey Puffs Cereal…
apparently (to me) it’s just a renaming as they are both the same flavor
Strawberry Jam = Strawberry (Toast & Jam)
= (Strawberry Ripe + Honey Puffs Cereal)

I love their SB Ripe …It is probably my fave SB Ripe . I should mix the SB ripe and Honey toast to see

Thank you. This answered my question.

@Rocky02852 I don’t know why, but every time I read this, I’m STILL confused.

Are you saying that the OG SB Jam, was already SB Ripe + Honey Puffs ??

If so, the whole Toast and Jam is just a bunch of crap naming, and the new (whatever its called), will be the same as the OG SB Jam ??

I could see that, based on what you think about Milk and Honey… There’s no other explanation.

I’m curious if others ever tasted Honey Puffs in SB Jam?
I would never say there is any Honey Puffs in there; i use it a lot and i often use it at 0.1-0.15% in complex mixes and i often taste it there. I’m guessing, but i believe i could taste it at 0.07% in one-dimensional SB-only mix.

I’m saying the new flavor: Strawberry (Toast & Jam) is a combo of SB Ripe + Honey Puffs per my convo with OOO.
Tested side by side with the OG SB Jam I’m getting the same flavor.
Not getting the toast part myself though… so not sure on the reasoning for the renaming, when I originally tested the Honey Puffs Cereal I got a buttery honey with very light cereal (AP) notes, so it now kinda makes sense to me that it’s in the Strawberry Jam but would need some help to make it a toast…

I have the SB Ripe but never tested it, now I’m curious what percentage they used it with the Honey Puffs Cereal?

True, I would have never thought that either but it kinda makes sense now, my original thoughts on the honey puffs:
a smooth buttery/honey flavor on top of a light puff cereal

Glad I’m not the only one!
