For me, a higher PG content indeed does enhance the tobacco flavor. I’ve pretty much settled into a 60PG/40VG with my NET liquids. Thank goodness I do not have a sensitivity issue with PG… I would definitely miss the nice throat hit which comes with a higher PG content in my juice.
Bloody juice didn’t even want to come out of my bottle with these freezing temperatures and my frozen fingers couldn’t even unpop the dripper top.
Maybe I should rethink this poll and have a 50/50 for cold weather.
I am sensitive to pg in that I get itchy, wanna jump out of my skin itchy. I am happy w/ 20/80 tho but since I have also read that a person may become more sensitive over time, i chose to only get my pg from the flavors and the nic. I did recently started using diy saline, a must w/ PB tpa for dry chalkiness, and noticed it makes it alot less viscious then u would think for such a small amount added (.3%). So it make me think if one has a prob due to the cold weather and pg sensitivity that this could be a nice alternative
I tried distilled water and vodka to replace PG but from my experience, it just makes the juice a lot harsher. Maybe a bit exaggerated but the difference is like swallowing sand vs butter.
Hence my days with distilled water are over. I haven’t tried saline yet but since it contains water as well, I’m a bit apprehensive about it.
I vape 100% pg 100mg
45/55 PG/VG
I’ve tried others, but that seems to be the best combo for me. I assure all that I did not choose “other” in the above poll solely due to the tempting pictured
70/30 but i can vape 100% of either been thinking of trying 60/40 vg/pg as i like strong flavours
From my point of view, a lot depends on the recipe, there is no such things as “a” Standard Base.
Tobaccos or tobacco mixes I go for 50/50
Sweets/cakes 70/30
Drinks 60/40
For my son (Cloud chucker… nothing below 80/20… but sometime I trick him with a 70/30 and MTS…)
Depending on Flavour amount used
VG Base With
<5% Flavouring + 12% Distilled Water
5-10% Flavouring + 10% Distilled Water
10%+ Flavouring + 8% Distilled Water
