I always like to see what’s behind the curtains. I must admit that I am not super creative. But I think I am doing pretty ok adapting recipies…sorta…still building up my flavor stash, but it’s tough since I really want to avoid certain additives/chemicals.

Milk Chocolate (INW) is an awesome flavor. Mixed with a touch of Cocoa (FA) it really can take on a rich milk chocolate flavor like in candy bars. Try my Twixted Revisited and Twixted Nut Revisited recipes. They both use that flavor and it’s pretty amazing what that flavor can do.

Don’t get stuck on all TPA, CAP and FW. They sometimes don’t taste as described. I see you posted you’re just starting, so try some premium flavors too. Your Rusty Ax looks good.

I am not stuck on any brand in particular, I chose those flavors after comparing between notes and comments on here of other brands of same or similar flavors, the ones I picked just had the better comments comparatively. for example i might look up a flavor and check the notes, and see people say it is weak or not authentic tasting, maybe off somehow, then another brand saying it is great, so logically I would choose what ever one has the better flavors. I also based my choices of brands off what the top few most used brands are on here, search flavor then click recipe tab to bump the listed flavor in most recipes first order so i know which ones tend to be chosen more often…to show you what i mean, here is a screen shot of part of my shopping list of flavors, Flavor West, Flavorah, Flavor Art, TFA/TPA shown here, off screen on my list are also a couple other brands (OnestopDIY, Capella) thrown in that had better reviews also compared to other brands… Also I hear Medicine Flower is great, I just haven’t heard much else about them specific to flavors other than that.

But, like I said, if you have any suggestions I am open to hear your input, also. If you see a flavor, you know is not as good, and have a better suggestion for a substitution, I would love to know 
and thanks for looking, like I mentioned, these are just some rough guesstimates for once i do have my diy stuff so i can jump right in the deep end

Yep, I have several of each. Sounds good… I’m going to let it finish a 2 week steep and if it doesn’t change I’ll step up or add more flavors. I’m also thinking about increasing the Anise. I does wonders for making fruit pop.
I haven’t played with Anise much yet. But I haven’t done too many fruit vapes yet.
Oh, on a side topic… remember when I made your Cactus and Fruits recipe and the Cactus made me cough? I added the Pyure to that bottle and I can vape it now! Amazing juice!

I might have to take you up on that. I’m missing most of the ingredients for the Twixted, but it sounds pretty good.
@Pro_Vapes. You might be hitting the ceiling for flavor percentages with your pear recipie. Maybe. But I love the recipie and if I have an empty bottle when I do my next mixing session may try to make it.
If I were to try and make it I would drop anise down to 0.50 (I’m sensitive to anise FA) and lower oba down a touch (since I find it smooths flavors and adds a sweet malty note).

This may be the reason I not getting the flavor I want. I’m not very experienced with Oba, so I used the average mixing %. I’ll cut that back on my next batch and see how it goes. I should have started low and worked it up if needed. Thanks for the tip.

I really like obaoba. I taste like sweet malty marshmallow but it does some magic.
I’ve done some finger taste test on some of these WIPs and most of these taste amazing. MF Lemon is REAL LEMON. I’ve tried several lemons but this shit is real. I can’t wait til these are steeped. I feel there are some real winners in this bunch. My Barney Rubble is good and I like it better than "The Real B.R. IMO. I’ll probably tweak it a little, but it’s already good.
Have you used FLV Milk & Honey? If you want to lighten the cream put it in their at like .5% in a sample and see what it does. To me that stuff works pretty good in cereal mixes. But it takes over pretty easily.
