Pugsley's Right Riveting Review of the Digiflavor Pharaoh RDA ...or RDTA...?

Definitely a great review. It is on my next shopping list item.

This not meant to be a slam on reviewers and the like, it is just my take.

Honestly if you look at reviews out there they are dull and we’ll not informative at all. You and some others, not mentioning names as for the fear of being shot, make the reviews easy to read and enjoyable. It does not make me a junky to go get the latest and greatest, gotta go now get my vaping fix. It is an informative opinion on the device. If you take these reviews as salt of the earth then you limit yourself on what you will and will not like. I take reviews with a grain of salt and go okay, like the deck, what could I do with it.
Basically do not be sheep. Read the reviews form your own opinion and do what you do best.
Now that rant out of the way, Pugs awesome job and it is really a pleasure to read your reviews.

Hello all, first off great review!

I recently got myself a Pharaoh and started building some fused claptons of my own. I was looking for something to quickly try new juices I’ve come up with to see steeping changes, instead of have to rebuild my tanks or wait on them to be completely dry and this is so much easier for juice changes.

I just have one question:
My pharaoh seems to have a leaking issue. Not from the air holes specifically but from the air flow control ring. Coming from where the top cap meets the ring and out the seam at the bottom of the ring.

Has anyone here experienced this or is it just me? I’ve tried replacing the oring between the top cap and the AFC ring with no luck. It’s not a big issue since I just use it at home but was wondering if maybe there was a fix or if I just got a bad one. Or some kind of clone. Seemed pretty legitimate and I got it from Eciggity.

@TheTinMan1 was it you who had the same issue? Did you ever solve it?

This is my first post on this thread so I think it may be someone else who had the same issue but I have seen several people on other reviews have the issue but I have not yet seen a fix. Some people say they’ve never had a leak and some have this one pretty bad. I feel like the o rings it comes with are too skinny because it’s definitely never a “snug fit” as Rip says in his video when he screws the top cap on. I swear mine just screws all the way down as if there is no o ring at all.

Oh sorry now I see you were asking another member :joy: Sorry about that

I have the same issue. I put a beefier o-ring on it that helped a little. The o-ring was big enough that it was slightly visible when tightened down but didn’t take away from the appearance of the atty. but the fix was short lived.

If you have the top cap off you can probably feel a little up and down play in the AFC ring. I have yet to find a fix but was thinking of trying a food grade epoxy.

I love the tank but the leaking issue has had me shelf it. I thought of ordering another but afraid I will have the same issue.

If I find I fix I will be sure to post it.

I had a similar problem when I had my Pharaoh. I found that coils with fewer wraps allow the cotton to rest on the airflow and drip juice down the hole. I alleviated this issue by using more wraps around a smaller diameter rod.

Rip’s IG today had a pic of the upcoming RTA Pharaoh …

Thing about it is I’ve not had it come out of the airflow holes. It’s coming from the bottom of the AFC ring. All the way around it. Not just the air flow holes side.

How does it look?
