Wish I seen this before my order got shipped out (I think you shipped it yesterday). I’d still pay for shipping for the sample if you still have it though.

A sample of that wouldn’t hurt if it got my way [/quote]
What Fenrir said!!
Sorry Fen…realized I replied to the wrong person in my excitement. lol
OMG…get them out there! I really think people are going to love it. I had to remake the brownie batter without sweetener this time, and am waiting for the 3 day test on that before sharing my thoughts. But I will say the FV is like a gourmet french vanilla with that thick rich mouth feel even after only a 3 day steep, really curious what a 4 week steep will taste like. It actually tastes like a true FV Custard, rich with the egg yolk but no eggy taste, and the creamy mouth feel rivals CAP V1 for me. I am a huge custard person and CAP V1 has always been my favorite. This has overtaken it and is now number 1 for me. It has that caramelized vanilla flavor, so it won’t be a sub in recipes that just need that plain vanilla creaminess. I would compare it to a super creamy, thick rich home churned FV ice cream. But so many uses, and SF @1% has been my ADV for the last 2 days.
Can’t wait to hear from the other testers to see if it’s just me or how it tastes for them. I know tastes are subjective, and it might just be me with being such a custard and vanilla fan. I hope not, cause I will want more. And happily pay a premium price for the Premium FV
WOW. That’s a huge statement, and quite the endorsement to boot! Now the question arises, why name it “French Vanilla” if it’s (assumed intent, yeah, I know) tasting like a custard?? /confused
You’d think he’d want to become the new “reigning custard” supplier…I’d guess that VC v1 has almost got to account for 25% of their income given the way everyone raves about it.
Interesting indeed.
GOT to get me some of that. (Inquiring minds and all. lol)

Because it’s not that true classic “custard” taste. Most custards are known for that rich egg based and flavored thick vanilla cream. This is more of a an ice cream base french vanilla. I compare it to CAP to compare that creamy mouth feel. Almost like when you eat a bite of pudding or drink buttermilk. You can almost feel that cream type film on your tongue.
If I tasted this blind without knowing the name Premium French Vanilla, I would say it is a french vanilla ice cream with the creamy mouth feel and density of a Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream. Or a french vanilla custard. It could be very versatile. I am not very good at describing stuff, I’m sorry. Trying to give comparison’s that might help people get an idea?
Dont apologise at all!! You’re doing great!
Had me interested instantly!
It was obviously my confusion. Sorry about that, but definitely appreciate the clarification!
Some of us just ‘lock onto’ different things than others do. lol
I’d walk over if I could, leg is still a bit… testy… after the accident, I would love to try some French Vanilla.
@Walt_RealFlavors assuming @dwdh586 is near you I would drive over for 2 of those, take one to him and bring one home with me to test lol
I want it all dammbittt!
Spread the love too much and we will form a mob when we run out of our French Vanilla fix!
Have you tried it yet? What did you think?
Love the input @MysticRose
The customer this was made for was actually trying to make an old school French Vanilla Custard type of ice cream. Super heavy dense ice cream. Very close to what you would find in France.
Then you gave them exactly what they asked for…because that is exactly what I tasted!
Also. I will release a line of what we will call Premium Extracts. (no VG or PDO version)
These will be flavors like the FV we have talked about. My next batch of FV is to be made and bottled mid to end Sept
@MysticRose now when you see it at stores… you will try it and be like… hey I know this favor haha
OMG Noooooo! I only have the 10mls you sent. Good thing it’s concentrated…I will make it last
And I can’t wait to try more premium flavors, if this one is any indication!
EDIT: Actually, this stuff is so concentrated, I think this 10ml will probably last me a couple months. At 1%, this will go very far
EDIT 2: Maybe you should rename it to Premium French Vanilla Custard Ice Cream. That would be very accurate!
Well you have certainly piqued my curiosity!
Id love to give it a try @Walt_RealFlavors but there are a lot of people ahead of me. I shot you an email, Walt, but i know you are a very busy man. I just wanted to say thanks for the BOGO offer on Wallyworlds site.
@Amy2 I grabbed Cream Soda, Ginger Ale, Condensed Milk and… Wait for it… Vanilla Custard, of course, hehe. If you want me to send you some of each just holler, ill be happy to send some your way. They will be here today, WOOT!
Sorry I couldn’t answer earlier , got a little busy at work.
I have tried it once after 48 hours , I mixed this at 3.0%… yeah big mistake as you can imagine so I will continue to test for a few days before saying much.
I will say that I think I will be very pleased when it settles down but I don’t want to jump too fast.
I have been playing with some cola mixes as of late ,if his Cola ends up where I think it will be then it will be fantastic. The carbonation aspect is already crazy good and the flavor is close already, nothing flat about this at all but again it is early.
you know what you need Walt, you need someone over here in the UK to test these samples…
no really you do, and I’ll tell you why…
…
…
seriously…I have nothing…
He also needs a tester/representative over in Germany where i live at the moment so he got EU covered. I mean since you guys voted yourselves out of EU
oooh controversial …
