Recipe ingredient suggestions

Ok everyone, looking for some suggestions for something I’d like to try.

If, you are from Canada or been, you may know of a chain here called Tim Hortons. They make a donut called an Old Fashioned Sour Creme glazed donut (my favorite).

From reading it seems that possibly I’d use:

BATTER/BASE
Yellow cake mix
Joy (apparently similar to deep fried dough)

SOUR CREME FLAVOR
Greek yogurt
Buttermilk

GLAZE
Meringue (although I think a better alternative would be Glazed Donut).

Maybe even a touch of Sour.

Has anyone tried a similar recipe?
Anything you can think to add?
Appreciate any suggestions you may wanna throw out.

If you can get your hands on Nic Vape Old fashioned…it’s a perfect cake donut, in fact it could be your only donut at 4-5%.
For the glaze you could use Flv frosting and meringue-

Unless you want to go WF glazed donut-but that’s not an old fashioned cake style donut. ALSO TPA glazed donut at 2% is a really nice “glaze” not much donut but good accent for glaze.

That’s all I got
