Recommendations for Natural Sweeteners

I’m still trying to find the perfect sugar flavor for both of my clones both still a little off. Flavor is there, but, sweetness, wetness, melt in your mouth feel is not there.

After talking to @SessionDrummer I feel a little saline would help with that wetness feeling. and Ricks sugar, combined might achieve that profile I want.

But there I read the profiles on this Powdered Sugar, I like the melt in your mouth type of feel, but I used Pixie Stick Candy (SC) to try to achieve that , and even though its good, its just not like punch you in the tongue juicy melt in your mouth feel.

Anyone tried powdered sugar on a grape candy type of profile?

Or can you show me how you achieved like a pixy powdered white sugary melt in your profile to put over a flavor like grape?

Tbh I just stick to Capella super sweet in my sub ohm recipes and not noticed a funny aftertaste yet and in of them I have made but I’ve never really thought about it, takes a big rip of Viennese whirls (strawberry jam and cream tasting notes with super sweet hmmmm nope tastes delicious

Normally go for 0.20% or max 0.30% sweetener in my recipes

I call it titty sprinkles :stuck_out_tongue::grimacing::joy:

But if I am making a cotton candy, and cotton candy is basically sugar.

My main flavor should be sugar. If you take it to high it mutes flavors? right?

I’m just trying to figure out if I need more sugar or combine with like powdered sugar to give it that premium sugar melting mouth feel.

I have this it goes in a lot of my recipes, but I feel I use flavorah sweetness more.

I’m not saying its a chem aftertaste. I just doesn’t feel sweet mouth watering enough if that makes since when taking it to the max on candy flavors, without muting other flavors.

I found I like the champagne fizz flavouring for that sugary feeling on the tongue

That sounds interesting, does it have a wine type of taste too?

My (CAP Super Sweet + FLV Sweetness) combo that gets me the sweetness close to what I like, but still missing that kick ya know?

Has anyone got info on:

Has anyone used Inawera Cactus in their mixes? I’m specifically wondering if it provides that “wet” mouthfeel I’ve been chasing for my candy recipes. After doing some reading, I’m reconsidering the powdered sugar flavoring because I’m worried it will just add a dry effect rather than the juicy, melt-in-your-mouth sensation I’m after.

Any input would be appreciated!

What is the compound in FA Pear that activates your salivary glands? I believe that’s why it makes vapes juicier. Maybe that is the path you need to head down?
