Should I be concerned?

Yeah I’m very grateful to @Lostmarbles for providing that link! I don’t know how I never saw it in the past? It will come in handy in the future, since I have 2 nauts with a year or 2 worth the coils (Honestly I don’t know why the guy bought this much)
Even though I mainly use my crown it’s nice to use the nauts to change up flavors throughout the day!

I kinda giggled myself

So I just got my tank pin from aspire and about to take a deep breath and switch them out. I’m starting to believe it isn’t the tank that its the mod now. Im starting to BARELY see the same thing on my other tank now, which leads me to believe that the small pin hole that is in the copper plate of the mod’s connection pin is causing this.
Although the tiny hole on the surface isn’t getting any bigger it is my belief that hole is what’s causing the tanks pin to bubble because there is that small surface leaving the smallest gap in surface to surface connection…which sucks because its convenient to have this second mod for my smaller tanks.
Performance hasn’t altered though

Hell, just hang on to the pins and use them AS NEEDED. If it works, don’t fix it as they say…

My thoughts exactly! I can’t seem to find anyone else having this issue with the copper pin on their mod though…curious as to how this happened but for now it isn’t getting any bigger but I wont be putting my crown on it that’s for sure!

Perhaps no one looks as closely as you do. I know I don’t unless I have a problem. Then you can bet you butt I’ll be looking…

Here’s a better pic of the “hole” also it appears the copper plating? is wearing off now too? Its almost all silver now…hmmm

You can see the difference in color just by comparing it with my original post…oh well, at least I have my big guy

can you scratch the rest off the pin?? .it make for a more solid surface for contact?

The copper? not really though…it’s the center hole that concerns me and explains the bubbling I’m getting on my tank…well now soon to be tankS…
Seeing as there is no contact between the small hole and the pin on the tank, I’m assuming there is a small arc bubbling the pin…I’m not an electricity expert but it makes sense

Actually, assume if something is plated, it’s gonna come off. It’s only a matter of time. Mixing different metals just don’t jive. I do not remember the word for it but there is a reaction when different metals touch each other. (Perhaps it’s Love, lol). This, and wear, are the biggest reasons plates don’t last. More than likely the reaction would explain the bubbling…

I’m sorry I was sayin I’m assuming the hole in the pin caused the bubbling not assuming it is plated. So I assumed there was an arc
