Sub for chefs speculoos

I can’t seem to get the chefs speculoos cookie I’ve been trying for mths. They are always sold out. Does anyone see anything here I can attempt to sub for it? From front to back
Biscuit (Biszkopt) (INAWERA)
(FA) Graham crust, Tpa Dx Graham cracker, (FA) Vanilla cookie, FA Cookie, Flavorah cookie, Sugar cookie (Cap), Biscuit Base(VTA), Creme brulee cookies (WF)cheesecake Graham crust TPA, and Graham cracker clear TPA. Anything here? I want biscoff bad.

try typing biscoff into recipe searches on ELR and ATF and you will see recipes there from Tam, Rin, MechMod etc for ideas on what they did for that biscoff flavor. That should get you close.

I h the concentrate, but have not used it. Here is my recipe that Wayne Walker mixed last week and thought it was really close. But remember. We are American.

Another concentrate that is pretty authentic is Flavor Express Cookie Butter. Or it is Jungle Flavors. It is a spicy flavor. Where wonder flavors is just good delicious yummy.

Biscuit (Speculoos) (CSC) 1.5% (6-12-21) – Living in the US, we have a much different meaning for “biscuit”, than across the pond where it is more of a cookie. A Speculoos Biscuit is actually a spiced biscuit (cookie), and man was it good. Regardless on which side of the pond you reside, my tastebuds nailed this as an almost pumpkin spiced cookie, WITHOUT the pumpkin. The ingredients appear to vary from country to country, but seeing repeated mentions of cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper, ginger and clove, yup, yup, yup. With this little gem floating in between an almost pumpkin spiced, to an almost gingerbread spiced cookie (biscuit), it was a TREAT. At 1.5% it was perfect, and was fairly complex with all of the spice elements floating around, with none taking center stage. You could EASILY push/pull this DIRECTLY into a full on pumpkin spiced, or a gingerbread by adding one or the other, but as it stood, a VERY good flavor. During the testing, I had to FIGHT the urge to run to the rack, and grab some FLV Frosting, or LA Cream Cheese Icing. Wow, if you like, want, or need a spiced cookie (biscuit), this one WILL get it done. Nothing off putting, and the fact that the spices continued to shift, and morph around, it stayed interesting throughout. I went into this flavor expecting a Bisquik type biscuit, but found a deliciously complex spiced cookie instead. Complex-edly set at a 9.8/10 .

Having JUST tested CAP’s Shortbread Biscuit, there WERE many similarities, as the CAP’s did NOT present as a shortbread, but more of a spiced cookie.

Shortbread (CAP) 3.5% (1-17-22) – It appears that BCF is having a hard time keeping this one (and others) in stock, so must be a good sign, right ?? Hehe, we’ll just see about that. Initially when I tested this one, I did a DOUBLE TAKE. Now, not because it was terrible, or off-putting, but UNEXPECTED. What, you say ?? Well, I’d swear this one was almost like a Pumpkin Bread, but without the Pumpkin. Yes, you read that right. I double, and tripple checked, to make sure nothing was wrong on my end, and that’s what I get from this one. Now, this is going to be hell for me to rate, as it’s a GREAT flavor, I just don’t think it’s a shortbread. At times I could get a LITTLE buttery-ness, and almost shortbread-ed-ness, but the majority of the time, it presented as a pumpking bread, missing the pumpkin, or even a ginger bread, minus the ginger. Sound confusing, good, welcome to MY world. In no ways was it off-putting, but it really came across far too dark, and almost spice (like) to be a light, shortbread. If this is a shortbread, it’s like none that I’ve ever tried. Regardless of it’s namesake or lack thereof, it was actually hella delicious, for WHATEVER it was. Just below or at mid-level sweet, with literally no off-putting notes, and with no indication of hitting the ceiling. @ 4% it was a nice, rich, almost dark cookie, that (repeating) just leaned towards a pumpkin or gingerbread cookie more than anything else. NO overt spices, but it’s like they were IN there. Quite good, and damned fine, as a solo too boot. I am enjoying this one SOO much, I’m going to have to DOUBLE RATE it. No other way, it’s too good. OK, for a “shortbread cookie”, I would have to go low, maybe 5.5/10 , BUT, as a (I have no clue), maybe a cookie base for a gingerbread, or pumpkin bread, I would have to rate it at a 10/10 . You guys NEED to get this one, and YOU sound off, what YOU get from it. Don’t buy it to be used as a shortbread, but get it anyway, and ENJOY it, just like I am. Bad name Capella, but GREAT flavor !!!

Yeah, I’ve tried this one it was more a spiced ginger bread and fairly unique.
Minimal similarities to those that are listed however I have never eaten biscoff so I’m unsure what spices would normally be there.
