Sweetener Evolution?

Has anyone experimented with the new Jungle Flavors Magic Sweetener?

Active Ingredients: Sucralose, Neotame, Advantame
The Tri-Component Sweetness Curve :
Immediate Onset (Sucralose): Delivers clean, familiar upfront body and baseline sweetness without caloric bulk.
Mid-Palate Bridge (Neotame): Enhances fruit and aroma profiles while suppressing off-notes, seamlessly connecting onset to finish.
Prolonged Tail (Advantame): Provides an ultra-long, smooth finish to eliminate sudden sweetness decay.

I’d never heard of those 2 before; they sound like Big Pharma names for new menopause drugs.
Its clever marketing but I’m wondering if there’s genuine science behind it or this stuff just another blip on the radar.

I’ve been testing it and it’s a whole different beast than these sucralose sweeteners.
I loathe that chemical smell from sucralose. Capella manages to minimize it with additives, but TFA’s super sweetener becomes too pungent with longer steeps.

I’m more interested in the science behind these newer sweetening agents. Curious whether anyone has researched the chemistry or done some serious comparative testing.

Seeing your post was fascinating - I had a similar sweetener problem and I just started testing this completely new, and easily obtainable sweetener : Jungle Flavors Magic Sweetener.

Here’s the Jungle Flv marketing pitch:
Magic Sweetener is an advanced, high-potency liquid sweetener engineered in a USP/EP propylene glycol base. By combining three high-intensity sweeteners (Sucralose, Neotame, and Advantame), it eliminates the synthetic aftertaste, lingering bitterness, and abrupt sensory drop-off common to single-agent solutions. The result is a clean, rounded, sugar-like sweetness curve.

I’ve only done initial testing and 1 recipe, but i have 6 more steeping and I’m currently waiting to find out how it performs with bakery, custard, cake, cookies, marshmallow, etc. I did some tests to understand the % strength, used it for an Ice cream recipe that’s a tricky recipe for sweeteners because it combines a ton of LB Ice cream and a combination of nuts - that’s an instable chemical combination that can easily come out wrong, sweetneres make it even worse and ruin the recipe usually - However, Magic Sweet completely transformed this GoNutz Ice cream recipe. The results were so promising, that I’m skeptical about the result. Maybe i just made an incredible ICe cream recipe, maybe it’s the sweetener, so I’m trying 6 other completely different recipes.

One bonus I’ve already identified: Value. This stuff is so strong that you barley need any - I use half that of Capella Super Sweet or 50% less, Given you were using Purilum , which I have myself, you’d only need 25%.

Purilum is good but far more diluted than Capella or TFA sweeteners. Capella SS contains additives that preserve it, add brightness to certain flavors and stabilizes the sucralose from turning the smell too chemical. Purilum and TFA don’t contain those additives so they both smell horrible, which isn’t a great thing when we’re using them for a vaping experience. That’s why so many people use Capella SS instead of TFA and Purilum - but Cappella SS can cause muting and offnotes, that Purilum doesn’t.

Again - none of these problems should appear in Jungle Flavors Magic Sweetener - so I’m eager to read some other mixer’s testing. .
