Tfv12 Tank busting

Yea, the Titan is a Boss, I built the 3 coil build and it gives a heavy, thick, moist and flavor like I put 3 RBAs in my mouth at once and took a draw. I cannot fully take a full pull off of it because it is too much. I myself have never vaped such dense clouds. This triple fused clapton at 6 volts on my NLPWM is overkill and this lipo goes up to 12 volts. Gotta build up to it, LOL. If you’ve got the lungs and tolerance, this tank can give you an edge in cloud contests. Next tank on the bucket list is the Voltrove 40 RTA and it won’t be released for a couple of months. Anyone interested let me know and I’ll point you there.

I ended up making a 3 coil build as well using 2z28 kanthal wrapped with 36g SS316L, 8 wrap with a 3mm ID. Coils in picture were set but not adjusted but people can get an idea.

Using around 5-5.6v and vapor/flavor is phenomenal.

So this fella, we will call him @Cooter1, goes back to his vape shop and asks why three glass pieces broke on his tank. One kind person, lets call her @VapeyMama, tries to fiqure out why while everyone else tries to sell him a new tank. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Guess we didn’t read the original post. I’ll try to do better.

Just going back to my roots in retail sales!!! :joy: However, I think @VapeyMama hit the nail on the head with her thoughts, @Cooter1.

I have several friends with TFV12s that have had no issues like this. I’m going to call a bad clone from ebay. do you have the store link?

See if this works.

oh I forgot, you can go to SMOK’s website and punch in the authentication code to verify the tank. Scroll down this page and punch that number in. I think SMOK has always had ups and downs with their QC, so it could just be faulty glass, or something on the tank getting to tight, etc…

I have been using sub ohm tanks up until recently, switched over to an RTA.
Serpent SMM to be exact.
For all the sub ohm tanks that I have used, TFV8 baby and big baby beasts,
whenever I chain vape, the tank gets really really hot and I have always hated that.
Now, with the RTA, I never have that issue anymore which is wonderful.
I was thinking that it might just break the glass because of the change in temperature. Heating up and then cooling down so often but it never did. But glad I don’t have to deal with the hot tanks anymore.

Was actually able to find a local shop where I bought 3 glasses. Most of our shops only sell kits and liquid.

Not believing this. Just cracked my 4th glass. Has to be something I am doing, right?

Is it possible you’re over tightening it?

Same base? it cant be round somewhere on either end…cut your loses man and get a new base or diff tank

You know, I think that makes the most sense here. There’s something wonky with the metal and its not sitting right with the glass.

I’ve got a spare tank so I’m going to put a new glass in it and see. It could be I’m over tightening but any looser and it would leak. Only me.

I wonder if the flavorings could be doing it. This is my Area 51 clone, has a lot of caramel in it.

Flavors shouldn’t affect a glass tank…

You do have a top and bottom o ring? if you do I would suggest the Jesse has it right something is not quite right with either the top or the base or you a super tightening it

Yes and actually replaced all the seals (more than once) because of the leaking.

Does it keep cracking in the same place? The same way?

Have you checked for imperfections under the o-rings?
