Ultra Sonic Cleaner!

Lol you were faster then me

The larger number has a more intense vibration. More expensive units has a even higher Hz.

I donā€™t think the 2K would be too much difference, and I like the looks of the one you have better than the steel box look. or is yours the box type?

Well heres my USC Cleaner Arduino Projectā€¦ Its very hack-ishā€¦

USC Cleaner Project

One word of cautionā€¦ Make absolutely sure you use a optical isolator between arduino
and USC Cleaner(I learned the hard way)ā€¦

Looks to technical for me but it sure looks like it worked well by the change of color of the juice from when it was in it to the pic of it when it was done.

Someone asked what cleaning solution to use ā€¦plain hot tap water. Also true it will stay hot as long as itā€™s running (generates heat). You donā€™t want to hear I bought my commercial grade dental tool cleaner (1 liter stainless steel) at Goodwill for $5 ā€¦the girl at the register asked me if I knew what it was. She said they all thought it was a little ice cream freezer :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

While people use for speed-steeping e-juice, owning a USC speeds up your cleanup too. Cleans anything submersible metal and glass with plain water in seconds. New Attys usually have a little oil coating from manufacture, nobody wants to vape that ā€¦and tanks from useā€¦ changing coils? toss all the parts in your ultrasonic (no electrical parts!) clean like new in under a minute. No oil or PG/VG can stick to metal and glass under ultrasonic treatment.

Not to over-ride anyone hereā€¦at first I used one all the time but I donā€™t use one anymore because I find I donā€™t need it. (I have two of them) What I do now is heat my mixes on low in a crock pot in glass beakers for about 45 minutes until the mix thins out, shake it and leave the cap on the bottle unscrewed overnight to let the alcohol get outā€¦ tighten down lid the next morning and put it in the closet.

That little bit of heat I use mixes it just fine. (But some would not agree with me)

I currently run mine under hot water for 15min while shaking it every 5 min then believe it or not once the 15 min is up I shake the hell out of it and put it in the freezer for 10 min or until cool then let it breath with the lid off for 20 min up to over night.

I just got my first ultrasonic cleaner.

iSonic

I wanted one for cleaning tanks & bottles / droppers. I have a pretty systematic juice rotation and everything gets a month or so on the shelf, before going into the daily rotation, but I might do a steep with it now and again.

Did an awesome job on the bottles & tanks.

Is that an 8 minute timer?

Yes, it will do 8 min.

The instructions say this model can run up to 30 min continuously, but youā€™d have to start it again, after 8 min.

This one does not have a heater. I didnā€™t think it would be necessary anyway.
