I’ve been experimenting with distilled water & vodka long time ago and I can’t say I was really happy with the results. I stopped using it and almost immediately my liquids got better.
Now, many years later, I stumble upon this
What are your thoughts and experiences with it? I’ve heard and read before that water is damaging (avoid condensation) so let’s talk about it. I don’t have enough knowledge about it to know if this is just hogwash or a legit concern and I’m sure there are many more people who don’t know.
Why would distilled water or saline be OK but condensation or just the moisture in the air be bad?
Water of any kind in MY experience, encourages mold and other growths… and actually I can not say that distilled or “salted” is alright either.
I know some nicotine replacements rely heavy on (dis) water amounts as high as 60% and have seen the effects of floaters and molds and what happens when vaped… guess it is why I am so anal about things like that in juices folks vape.
I will add… it is dependent on what is the the “juice” too… @Letitia…
mixing things that are not supposed to be in and expecting a miracle (ie: nic replacements) can bring about disastrous growths and molds, more so than ejuice that is reg… but there are things that the nakid eye just can not see.
PG and I don’t get on well so needed to reduce that and I get the “heavy” lung feeling easily. These are the two main reasons I started mixing and the dw works well for me personally. I keep PEG400 but not crazy about using it. If I take the dw above 7% I get a lot of crackling I find rather annoying so if my flavor % is low I’ll add 5% p400 to thin the juice a bit.
