grabbed a couple of Twisted Messes Squared and DotMod Petri clones along with an authentic Wismec Indestructible. Never bought clones before but for those prices I couldn’t resist.

@CallMeTut I’m thinking of getting one of these. I already have one and it only has one Con …it’s single battery life …while totally consistent with other single 18650 mods (batt life) you can easily go through two or three batts in a day. Otherwise stellar temp control and super tiny …oh also does NOT like 25mm tanks (don’t fit with that battery cap) Oh wait that’s two cons :wink:

Does that Petri have 2 air holes on each side or just the one? I have seen reviews on Petri clones and they all had the competition sleeve with 2 airholes on each side.

And did the Square come with all 3 sleeves, gold silver and black?

I have no clue really since I don’t own the authentics but they look and feel pretty good. Haven’t built or fire them up yet.

They have one on each side if I remember right (not at home at the moment).
The Squares have all 3 sleeves.

Biggest difference as i see it is that the tolerances can be of a lesser quality on the clones and the o’rings might not make the sleeve sit as snug as on the original, the quality on the scrub screws might not be as good as the ones on an original.
But depending on who makes the clone the quality might vary.

The Twisted Messes is kind of affordable as an original the Petri on the other hand is what i would say overly prized.
